it won’t always be the case, but maybe that’s an indicator their dad is a good role model, and they should be learning from him rather than insinuating it’s actually about their dad.
whether it’s becoming a better person or learning what qualities to look for in a partner. maybe that’s a forever partner.
if their dad wasn’t like that, then no one would’ve batted an eye. the description itself would’ve been completely normal.
of course, this can vary depending on what the person admires about their dad and the reasoning behind it. but if there’s a sense of safety or fun somewhere in there, maybe that’s exactly what they’re looking for.
