My condolences, man.
I didn't just lose my Mom, I saw her health detoriate in a matter of days, I saw her in pain and what hurts Me is I couldn't do anything to help ease it. I saw sickness take over her body and I couldn't stop it. I watched the woman who brought Me to this world take her last breath. I'll never be OK. π₯Ίπ
Congratulations, but don't forget that another uncomfortable senior might be coming after you in the coming days. Organise yourself.

Then he shared his screen. It was an internal email chain showing my manager had recommended my termination immediately after I refused to sign the report.
The CEO had been investigating suspicious financial statements for weeks. My refusal had triggered a review, and the evidence now suggested that several executives had been manipulating revenue figures before an upcoming acquisition.
βYour manager thought firing you would make the problem disappear,β the CEO said. βInstead, it gave us a reason to look closer.β
He explained that my termination had been paused while legal reviewed the evidence. By the end of the call, I had a written offer to return under a different department, with a raise and direct access to the compliance team.
Two days later, my former manager was escorted out of the building.
I never signed the original severance agreement.
My boss used Zoom to end my career. The CEO used the same laptop to give me back my future.
But when Zuckerberg dresses the 'same' outfits everyday for a week we call it posh version. Lakini Omwami wetu hapa tunaona umaskini. Jameni!
We can all do well.
We can all do better.
That is not true. There is hidden power on how we see and refer to ourselves. Take time.

trying to extrapolate a person's personality and political stance based on how they use 'i' in a sentence is just sad. 8:4:4 really messed you guys badly
Inside job.
Someone calls me, tells me my last communication with Safaricom and mpesa payment claims they r about to close my line bla bla.
Now I know it's a scam but why did they know my last communication with saf and my last Mpesa payment? Wtf?
@Safaricom_Care @SafaricomPLC
They were in State House yelling about unfair competition from the Chinese selling goods at factory prices.
Useless standards.
There is the American and British factor in determining who sits in @StateHouseKenya
How can we cure that cancer?
THE POLITICAL CLASS IS PANICKING.
Behind closed doors, the fear is real.
The MPs, governors and senators who stood with William Ruto on the Finance Bill 2024, supported the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua, watched Gen Zs face police brutality and voted for punitive laws are beginning to confront a brutal reality: the people have not forgotten, and 2027 is 300 days away.
Today, during a lunch meeting at the CBD near Absa Bank, I heard one MP tell his governor:
βHii kura hii! Lazima Ruto aibe, asipoiba sisi kwisha!β
Read that again. The fear is so deep that some politicians now believe their political survival depends on Ruto stealing the ππππππ ππππ ππππ elections.
Imagine a very prominent Nairobi MP from Luo Nyanza entertaining thep ππππ that they could lose their seats unless Ruto rigs his way back into State House.
These are not ordinary words. They reveal the level of desperation gripping a political establishment that knows the electorate has every reason to punish it at the ballot.
When elected leaders begin discussing election theft as their only insurance against defeat, every Kenyan must sit up and pay attention.
Our votes are not the property of State House.
The ballot is not a family inheritance.
@IEBCKenya is not an extension of the presidency, and the Kenyan people are not spectators in their own democracy.
Let nobody wait until election night to start asking questions.
Let the United Alternative Government protect the vote, let IEBC demonstrate its independence, let election observers do their work, and let every Kenyan remain vigilant.
Any attempt to manipulate the people's verdict must be resisted through lawful, constitutional and democratic means.
@JalangoMwenyewe?
I genuinely wonder what was going through his mind.
Did he calculate the political cost of standing with this administration, or did he convince himself that loyalty to power would outweigh the anger of the electorate?
Perhaps he believes his hotel business gives him a different political reality.
Whatever the calculation, business interests cannot insulate a politician from the judgment of voters.
Jalang'o, like every other elected leader, will ultimately answer to the people of Langata constituency.
Let this be a warning to every MP, senator and governor who mistook power for popularity: the Finance Bill, the Gen Z bloodshed, the impeachment politics and the punitive policies have consequences.
You cannot stand with a government against the people and then expect the people to rescue your political career.
Kenyans must prepare, organise & mobilise to defend their democratic rights.
Do not sell your vote.
Do not surrender your voice. Do not allow anybody to manufacture a crisis and then use that crisis to justify stealing your future.
William Ruto must win through the ballot or leave through the ballot.
There is no third option.
Kenya belongs to its citizens, not to the men and women occupying public office.
2027 must be decided by voters, not by political desperation, intimidation or electoral fraud.
WANTAM is a reality they can't escape.
Kelvin, the fact that you are consistently referring to yourself with a small i, I don't think you can comprehend anything another person will say apart from Ruto's loud lies.
This is one of the reasons why this animal called 'democracy ' can never work anywhere. A big fat lie.
Yeah! The current man is a modern man with better skills in fixing a damaged woman than the man of yester years. Go ahead man, fix.
Men,
You are all educated and civilised.
Red is just a colour.
A colour of romance.
Every woman has a past.
Every past has a future.
Every sinner has a future.
Marry her and fix her.
You are Mr Fix It.
Red Flags are for China's CCP parade.

My libido suffered every day I rotated in maternity as a student & during internship.
I suffered the same whenever I had to do 1% exam. of a female patient, unfortunately I was working in a hospital serving a lot of women with GVRC, traumatic experiences.
Useless drama.
I so so dislike when female patients think male doctors care about their bodies as if the male doctors came to look at their bodies
I dont think some of these female patients know the trauma the male doctors go through because of these misconceptions just to arrive at a diagnosis
The annoying part is that βthese females β who think a male doctor left his house just to examine them to get a certain βhigh βwill now be asking that a female doctor who is already overwhelmed with work should do a better job because they would rather have a female examine her
Anyway for me when I see these drama females I intentionally refuse to examine them and leave them with the male colleague.
I even want to seize this opportunity to tell all these females patients that no doctor cares or look at them passionately during examination, they just see these body parts as a diseased organ that needs to be cured.
I think people need to get that .
Because I hear stuffs like these a lot
I wish the male doctors can come under my comment and let these young females know that nobody cares about their body parts βsexually β during examination.
I think we all female and male doctors need to trash out this horrible mind sets of patients
Sure, he should like all of us need to. However, these colonial standards of sleek and authoritative dress code masks people's bad behaviour and the majority voter is naive. They end up voting for the lie.
That's how Uhuru and Ruto packaged themselves & swindled π°πͺ big time.
Indeed, sharing is caring.
Men,
If someone's wife approaches you,
Give her a shoulder.
She is desperate for warmth.
Her husband has erectile dysfunction.
Sleep with her.
Love her.
She needs love.
Be like Jesus.
Love is the first commandment.

No.
Congratulations. RBS is part of vitals nowadays.
Something as simple as βRBS checkβ made me to save a life of an 18 year old male brought to the ER on account of unconsciousness, laboured breathing, poor appetite, vomiting with severe dehydration.
The parents on quick history taking while I was doing my vitals gave me a picture of severe malaria.
Just imagine I lacked the clinical skills and acumen, I would have sheepishly started on Dextrose fluidπ€
I looked at the boyβs breathing pattern, alas! I shouted βKussmaulβ and then quickly checked the RBS and boom it read βHiβ ,I screamed DKA!!
I started my WHO standard on fluid resuscitation, correction of hypokalaemia and hyperglycemic state..
Yes,DKA(Diabetic ketoacidosis) is common in T1DM
βββββββββββββββββ-
The young chap is doing well in the ward
In all you do, donβt forget to do bedside RBS for every patient that comes to the ER.
Its SACROSANCT!!!
