Here is a diagram that shows the DMV or "hidden closet" that the virus creates for replication.

“If you end the Public Health Emergency, make sure the virus gets the memo too” said Raj Rajnarayanan. 'Arcturus' an even more transmissable variant has fueled a surge of cases in India. It is now spreading world wide. A new symptom; conjuctivitis. fortune.com/well/2023/04/14/…

Trauma survivors crave honesty and authenticity. We have had to fight for our ability to think clearly and know who we are. It’s cost us greatly. We aren’t willing to engage with those who do not honor that.

We call it "complex" trauma because it results from prolonged, repeated trauma that often happened within relationships. Betrayal, manipulation, & physical or emotional inescapability make complex trauma different than "just" PTSD (which, make no mistake, is also a bitch).

It's not weird that trauma survivors have trouble expressing our viewpoints, wants, & needs. You would too, if you'd been told for years that your viewpoints, wants, & needs weren't important-- & that it was "selfish" & "entitled" to put words to 'em. Old programming dies hard.

you ever reach the point in your healing journey where you're self aware enough about your anxieties and why you have them that you understand a need to process it and communicate your needs, but still worry about how it's perceived

Long covid makes me angry. Angry at myself, at public health, at minimizing doctors, at do-nothing politicians, just angry angry angry all the time. This is such a drastic change from who I was before and a side effect of LC that I loathe. I ache to be positive and happy again.

"Parts" of us that other people may see as hostile or destructive, may actually scared or protective. Those traumatized parts may figure the best defense is a good offense. If we wanna understand our behavior, we gotta understand-- & accept-- the part of us that's driving it.

Crying might be about the MOST human behavior there is. It was certainly one of the FIRST behaviors of EVERY human reading this. Crying must be pretty important, for it to come straight from the factory. (Spoiler: it IS-- for LOTS of biological & psychological reasons.)

This is horrific treatment of people living with mental illness and will only contribute to the overtaxing of an already overburdened healthcare system. This is not beneficial for people living w mental illness nor will it address our mental health crisis. This is not the answer!

Covert narcissists need to abuse those they feel threatened by. They use different tactics to keep a dialogue open. They may start out friendly so when they become abusive you’re less inclined to block. Or if you call them on their abuse they may laugh and call you oversensitive

Sometimes part of us "knows" something that another part of us isn't quite ready to accept yet. Part of us might have crystal clear memories that another part of us is in complete denial about. We're not ready to see what we see & know what we know-- until we are.

There is no hoping we are wrong when we were already proven right 1) No herd immunity 2) T cells are exerting severe disease, proven by Abatacept 3) covid now a leading cause of death 4) T cells are getting exhausted, found to be a feature of "long covid" I was right

I'll never deny how I got long covid. I believed the public messaging that it would be mild for me. I didn't know about LC. I prioritized socializing over health because I was BORED. No one I knew at that point had a severe infection or bad lingering issues. I was wrong.

Exposing your abuser is not character assassination. Telling the truth is not character assassination. Making something innocuous look bad, is. Making up lies about a person, is. Any sort of malicious manipulation of the perceived image of a person, is a smear campaign.
