When Kayleigh Kozak was in the 6th grade, she was sexually abused by her coach. She obtained a no-contact order against him, but would have to return to court and relive her dreadful experience every time the order expired.
That's why Pennycuick proposed Kayleigh's Law, which passed the State Senate 46-4. This law extends those protections.
What these women have gone through is horrific, and they shouldn't have to relive their abuse just to get a rightful order extended.
