It is safe to say that you are determined to set Nigeria on the path to destruction and anarchy with your conduct. How are you duplicating real voters with AI-generated voters to cook up results, probably for the highest bidder?
This is abnormal and raises legitimate concerns about the integrity of the biometric data on the register. Different individuals cannot legitimately share essentially the same facial image. Such duplication undermines the reliability of the ABIS and also calls into question the legitimacy of previous election results that saw endless court cases over irregularities.
Why are you limiting public scrutiny of the voters' register? What else are you hiding? Why are you setting Nigeria up for internal destruction? Why are you choosing the path to truncate our democracy? Why not allow the will of the people to count fairly?
You breached the Electoral Act by not releasing the registered voters list publicly 90 days before the elections because you cooked up the numbers with non-Nigerian, AI-generated identities. No wonder you were busy going to court to topple opposition strongholds, which saw the exclusion of many top candidates from the opposition, particularly the NIGERIAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (NDC).
We demand that Professor Amupitan step down or that you overhaul the entire system immediately and pledge to conduct a free, fair, and credible election, not destroy Nigeria from within.

I’m just going to say this for the record. The day i went to register for my permanent voters card after inputing my details and thumb printing. The system showed a duplicate record, same surname, first name, middle name, date of birth, state and NIN. The only difference was the picture, gender (F) and different LGA (Isiala Mbano)
One of officials that came to register us said it was a coincidence, that two people can bear the exact same name. Which i objected to immediately. Even if that was the case, my understanding is that my National Identification Number (NIN) is exclusive to me only, so how come we both had the same NIN.
They went ahead to register me and give me my print out with my VIN, and i was assured that they’ll rectify it. (i registered around May/June)
Ever since then i’ve been checking from the voter verification portal to find out when my registration would reflect, and it never reflected even after PVC distribution started, as i wanted to know if my PVC was ready for collection. ( I was told i’d get a mail or SMS to that effect. It never received any)
I’ve now checked the voter register, and i still cannot find my name on the voter register, meanwhile the duplicate identity which was using my government name, and issued NIN as well as all my other details which i was told would be rectified is on the voter register.
Please kindly rectify this immediately. How excatly was my details and exclusive identifcation number’s used to register a woman i have no idea who she is.
PS: The reason i’m able to check for her on the voter register, is because i still remember the LGA, Ward and Polling unit i saw on INEC registration Tablet/Device when they showed me the duplicate, eventhough they didn’t allow me snap the screen.
I would have also attached my VIN number to this message, but i’m not sure if it’s something confidential that i’m not supposed to share in public.

UPDATE ON THE DISPLAY AND PUBLICATION OF THE PRELIMINARY REGISTER OF VOTERS FOR THE 2027 GENERAL ELECTION
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) wishes to provide an update on the display of the Preliminary Register of Voters ahead of the 2027 General Election.
2. In accordance with Section 19 of the Electoral Act, 2026, the Commission conducted the physical display of the Register at Registration Areas nationwide from 9th to 15th October, 2026, providing registered voters the opportunity to inspect their particulars and submit claims and objections as prescribed by law.
3. The Commission has taken note of the concerns expressed by Nigerians and other stakeholders regarding the desirability of making the Register accessible through its online platform in addition to the physical display already conducted.
4. Accordingly, and in furtherance of its commitment to transparency, accessibility and public confidence in the electoral process, the Commission has decided to make available on its online platform display.inecnigeria.org the same Preliminary Register of Voters earlier displayed at the Registration Areas.
5. This additional measure complements the physical display already undertaken and is intended to facilitate wider public access to the Register. Meanwhile, the Commission continues to process claims and objections arising from the exercise in accordance with the Electoral Act, 2026, preparatory to the certification and publication of the Final Register of Voters on 15th December 2026.
6. The Commission appreciates the continued interest and constructive engagement of Nigerians and stakeholders and reiterates its commitment to transparency, accountability and the faithful implementation of the Electoral Act, 2026 in delivering credible elections.

When INEC first announced it would start using AI, most people brushed it off as nonsense. Take a hard look at these images though the signs of AI generation are hard to miss.

Nigerians, there is fire on the mountain!
After weeks of dragging INEC to publish the voters’ register, they have finally unlocked it on their website. But guess what? There are over millions of duplicated voters with the same picture, the same NIN, but different voter numbers. Some people can even identify their family members who died over eight years ago still listed on the website.
What a useless waste of resources.
You remember when the APC was moving mad, sharing rice and collecting people’s voter card numbers and NINs? This is what they achieved with it. What does this mean? For instance, in a polling unit of 2,000 voters, AI can record 10,000 voters using the rest of the duplicate data.
INEC is a fraud. Amupitan has instigated revolution and chaos in this country.
