Four bogus polling operations just demonstrated how to manipulate an election before a single ballot is cast. In Michigan, Mallory McMorrow was tied for first at 24%. Then Wedgewood Polls fabricated a survey showing her collapsing to 9%. Eleven days later, she withdrew. Donors reportedly pulled their money, volunteers lost enthusiasm, and reporters began asking when she would quit. Holy shit. A political campaign was damaged by numbers somebody invented out of thin air, and the political establishment treated the fiction as legitimate evidence that her candidacy was finished. And Michigan was just the beginning. Fabricated polls spread through other races, influenced political narratives, and even moved prediction markets. The New York Times eventually removed FIFTEEN Wedgewood surveys from its polling tracker. One operation reportedly received undisclosed campaign money. Another allegedly had suspicious trading activity surrounding its releases. So who funded these operations? Who paid for nonexistent polling? Who knew the numbers were fabricated? Who profited when markets moved? And how many campaigns made irreversible decisions because political fraudsters successfully laundered imaginary numbers through supposedly credible institutions? Where the hell are the subpoenas? Get the bank records. Get the invoices. Get the communications. Examine every suspicious trade and every undisclosed campaign payment. Identify every participant who knowingly helped turn fabricated data into financial or political advantage. And where the evidence establishes fraud, prosecute the bastards. We're endlessly lectured about election integrity by people who apparently couldn't determine whether the fucking voters in their polling data even existed. And now we're supposed to accept that deleting the fraudulent surveys somehow fixes everything? Tell that to the candidates who lost funding. Tell that to the donors who made decisions based on lies. Tell that to Americans whose electoral choices were influenced by manufactured political realities. If fabricating polling data to extract money, manipulate markets, and sabotage political campaigns doesn't warrant serious criminal consequences, somebody explain exactly how much election interference we're prepared to tolerate before we start putting the people responsible in handcuffs.
