Dear @PennStateFball, @PennStateFball, and delusional PSU fans telling other fans to “shut up” and “let Matt Campbell build,” and coming up with every excuse in the book for the inexcusable, Here’s a list of the new, first full-year P4 head coaches and the amount of P4 wins + ranked wins they have. There are only two HCs on the list who have 0 P4 and ranked wins: Penn State: Matt Campbell P4 wins: 0 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 1 chance) & Michigan State: Pat Fitzgerald P4 wins: 0 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 2) —— Here’s everyone else: VA Tech: James Franklin P4 wins: 3 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 0) - Oklahoma St: Eric Morris P4 wins: 3 Ranked wins: 1 (out of 2) - Stanford: Tavita Pritchard P4 wins: 1 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 2) - Auburn: Alex Golesh P4 wins: 3 Ranked wins: 1 (out of 2) - Arkansas: Ryan Silverfield P4 wins: 1 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 3) - Florida: Jon Sumrall P4 wins: 3 Ranked wins: 2 (out of 3) - LSU: Lane Kiffin P4 wins: 3 Ranked wins: 2 (out of 3) - Kentucky: Will Stein P4 wins: 4 Ranked wins: 2 (out of 3) - Kansas State: Collin Klein P4 wins: 1 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 1) - Cal: Tosh Lupoi P4 wins: 2 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 1) - Iowa State: Jimmy Rogers P4 wins: 1 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 3) - UCLA: Bob Chesney P4 wins: 5 Ranked wins: 1 (out of 1) - Michigan: Kyle Whittingham P4 wins: 2 Ranked wins: 1 (out of 2) - Ole Miss: Pete Golding P4 wins: 4 Ranked wins: 3 (out of 4) - Utah: Morgan Scalley P4 wins: 4 Ranked wins: 0 (out of 0) —— In conclusion, you are disrespecting and wasting Penn State fans’ time and money. The ones who know what the program is capable of with the resources at your disposal are sick and tired of it. A bulk won’t be at the rest of the home snoozers. You continue to be incompetent with the decisions you make, and refuse to move on from the “old school” way of doing things. It’s disgracing the program and holding it back. It must be rectified. Now.

Matt Campbell took the PJ to Omaha last week to land the Will Wood replacement. Didn’t work. Our new life here in Happy Valley. Looking forward to hearing from the recruiting burners about why this is not only fine but beneficial and all part of the plan!
After a lot of thought and consideration, I’ve decided to shut down my recruitment and fully focus on my commitment to the University of Missouri. I’m grateful for every coach, program, and opportunity that has been part of this journey, and I’m excited for what’s ahead at Mizzou. MIZ! 🐯

I did some research. The last win for either the Eagles or Penn State was on September 20th: a 24-20 Eagles win @ the Titans. Since that date, the Eagles and Penn State are a combined 0-9. Since the Philadelphia Eagles' inception in 1933, this is the longest combined streak without either team winning in one full CFB-NFL season ever. The next closest is the 1936 Eagles and PSU seasons, where both teams went a combined 0-8 w/o a win from a last-win date of October 3rd to when the streak-snapped (a PSU win over Syracuse) on, ironically, Halloween '36. In terms of days, when Penn State faces off against Purdue this Halloween Saturday, it will mark 41 days since the Eagles or Penn State last won a game. This appears to shatter a single-season record of days without either team winning, no matter the result of Saturday's (or Sunday for the Eagles) game. It appears the closest such combined drought in a single-season is 29 days w/o either team winning, which occurred in the 1935 and 1963 seasons, where the teams went a combined 0-6 and 0-5-1, respectively. In both seasons, the streak didn't snap when the combined seasons concluded. For the aforementioned 1936 season, the wait time for a win was 28 days. If you are a Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Nittany Lions fan, this is historical poverty.
We are now on 37 days since one of my football teams won a game. Eagles have lost 5 straight. Penn State still hasn’t won in the Big Ten. Thank goodness for LeBron and the Sixers. Otherwise this would be the most miserable Fall of my sports fan life.

Exactly. Quit the excuses and demand accountability. #WakeUp
This all sounds great until you realize UCLA beat the same Wisconsin team PSU blew a 17 point lead to with, checks notes, ahhh yes a backup QB.

Dude definitely thinks he just beat 2018 Clemson lol
James Franklin greeted nearly everyone repping Virginia Tech going into the tunnel, then doubled back and helped the equipment guy push his cart in. VT comes back late to beat Clemson 20-16.

VA Tech has a mentally ill, inferiority complex fanbase my god. He did this at PSU after beating good logos in an off year, it’s an observation you freaks. Going 8-4 isn’t going to change the fact VA Tech couldn’t hold PSU’s jockstrap in football success. Couldn’t even beat PSU in hoops.

You can find the same receipts for every account that has a ridiculous Penn State/Franklin tweet like this
Penn State is completely adrift at 3-4 with no P4 wins. You wonder if they take a look at an up and comer like the new VT coach who inherited a 3-9 team and has them bowl eligible at 6-2 (and should probably be 8-0).

If you want more of an example of the excuse-filled, delusional clowns, this guy, who is notorious AI-slop white trash on here, is equating Matt Campbell’s coaching performance vs. Michigan and Wisconsin to Cignetti’s coaching performance against Michigan yesterday where they stayed strong and won, whereas the other guy choked under pressure and made 0 adjustments. I said it already: you literally can’t make it up.

So to be clear...the best coach in the sport managed the game the exact same way our coach did vs Michigan and Wisconsin. Well done!!

No, you don’t speak “for most everyone.” You and your circus ring are constantly misleading and gaslighting Penn State fans by calling a pile of shit a bundle of roses and providing excuse after excuse for a product that can’t be excused. There’s a decent proportion of people who are beginning to see right through this BS and are sick and tired of it from not only fans like yourself, but, of course, also “leaders” at Penn State who still think and operate like it’s the year 2000. We are not going to shut up just so you can live your AI-edited fantasyland excusing and trying to convince people that a multi-year rebuild for Penn State football in today’s CFB landscape, in combination with PSU’s unfathomable incompetence the past year, is a-ok.
I think I speak for most everyone, when I say that you're a hater douchebag bawlbaby, and we appreciate it if you'd just STFU & find another team. PSU will be fine. Every coaching situation has different circumstances. Go be a crybaby somewhere else. We're trying to stand by our team.

As a microcosm, this is what happens when Penn State doesn’t have a ranked win in 2 seasons, and Wisconsin has 3 of them despite being 9-15 their 2 previous seasons. Even so, perhaps if Penn State had flash, if it looked like they had any semblance of building something “special,” this probably wouldn’t happen. Instead, Penn State has chosen to treat itself as a 2010s rebuild these past 10 months.
BREAKING: 4⭐️ 2027 LB Blake Betton has flipped his commitment from Penn State to Wisconsin, per Hayes Fawcett. #WeAre

Why do I have to be patient? This isn't the sanction years. It's a coaching change. Indiana won a National Championship IN FOOTBALL! NO MORE EXCUSES!

This is nonsense, and fans shouldn’t take it seriously. Penn State botched the coaching search to an epic degree, hired one of the last people needed to elevate the program (PSU is no “fixer upper” like the ISU’s of the world), and that person is coaching unserious, over-his-head, old-school football that no longer has a place in today’s game to be a national success, and it’s even had zero success against bad teams. It is not surprising that we’ve resorted to full excuse-filled smoke-blowing propaganda to excuse the current product. This is part of the reason why PSU always keeps the cycle of insanity going. What needs to be addressed for PSU to actually be successful and to maximize its resources is Kraft’s and Campbell’s tenure here.
It’s time to address this all. 🦁

You literally can’t make it up. Virtually every 1st year head coach has had success to some degree, but the company line these losers are pumping for Penn State is “success doesn’t happen overnight.” It’s not 2010 anymore. So those programs, with a decent amount having less resources than PSU, is seeing success, but ah, Penn State must be some 3-year rebuild in the year 2026 w/ a coach who can’t call timeouts correctly, and if you don’t like that, you feel you’re not getting your money’s worth, and are calling this out for what it is, shut up and don’t be a fan! And you wonder why……..
Success doesn’t happen overnight no matter what Pat Kraft says. He’s the one who set the expectations full stop. It’s just pathetic to be here complaining and miserable all the time

Folks, this dude is part of the same clown posse on here who does nothing but blow smoke up PSU fans’ asses ALL THE TIME. In this situation, they are going through every excuse for the inexcusable, the facts don’t matter to them (the fact being how in the world does PSU football have 0 P4 wins in 10 months), and are now resorting to saying I’m some extension of a burner of a guy who thinks James Franklin is a good coach. This is what they do. Like PSU’s incompetent leadership, we’ve also been dealing with these smoke blowers for decades, while other programs’ fans would have zero tolerance for this current situation. It’s time for truth tellers. For the record, I’m a Penn State non-football letterman, and have been going to games since I couldn’t walk. Shove that up your sorry, lying ass, @Jbenn23.

That’s cool, yeah, I know you might not be the brightest bulb in the box, but coaches and players at Penn State are paid well above average in CFB to produce, while fans pay well above average to attend games. PSU has suffered from: 4 collapsed seasons in 7, back-to-back seasons of 4+ game B1G losing streaks since the Dark Ages, hasn’t won a single ranked game in 2 seasons, and hasn’t won a P4 game in 10 months, and botched a nationally-embarrassing coach search. This is all under the backdrop that PSU has 100,000+ show up every home game, a $30 million roster, brand new state of the art football facilities, etc. etc. and you want to talk wimpy about “adversity” and “ups and downs.” Excuses. With all the variables at play, PSU should not be at the state of the above, full stop. Absolutely hilarious you’re calling people pussies when you’re shoving this boot down your throat^ and aren’t you the same one who wrote a woe-is-me tweet because an opposing fan called you fat or something? Toughen up pussy, it’s life.
