WATCH: @hasanthehun points out not only did the @dscc not help @AngieNixon in Florida, they fundraised off searches for her name 🤔 @SenSchumer told her “WE’LL SEE” when she asked for help. She lost by 3 points. That alone is enough for @SenateDems to “SEE” about a new leader

HOW UKRAINE REPAID CUBA FOR TREATING ITS SICK CHILDREN FOR FREE For the 34th straight year, the overwhelming majority of UN member states voted in favor of a resolution calling for an immediate end to the decades-long US economic blockade against Cuba in the General Assembly. “[Cuban] children are dying because doctors lack access to essential medical supplies and medicines. This is unacceptable,” stated UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk, highlighting the civilian impact of US-imposed sanctions. Yet, despite international consensus on the illegal blockade’s human toll, Ukraine stood alongside the US and voted against lifting the restrictions for the second year in a row. This diplomatic stance comes despite a history of Cuban solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Following the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, where an explosion caused a sharp increase in cancer cases among Ukrainian children, Cuba launched a multi-decade humanitarian initiative that provided comprehensive, free, specialised medical care to over 25,000 sick Ukrainian children at the Tarará Medical Complex near Havana, a programme Cuba sustained even through its own severe economic crises. This is why critics argue that Ukraine's vote to uphold a blockade that systematically starves Cuba's health sector, and consequently its children, reflects how geopolitical alignment with Washington has superseded historical memory. "Ukraine paid nothing. Voting to starve Cuba was their payment I guess," observed documentary filmmaker Domhnall Ó Luchrain, noting the irony behind Kyiv’s vote.

Oyibo spent years conditioning the African mind to always associate mischief with the Black Man/African, and to never see the moral bankruptcy of the Oyibo. Unless this injected mentality is discarded, the road will continue to be rough for us as a people. For example, so many Africans have no idea that these people are inventors of corruption.

AES Advances Towards Healthcare Sovereignty The absence of critical healthcare infrastructure has forced many Africans to seek specialised treatment abroad. But across the AES, the revolutionary leaders are investing in medical facilities, developing local expertise and expanding the capacity to perform complex procedures at home. From Mali to Burkina Faso and N*ger, these developments point to a bigger ambition: achieving healthcare sovereignty and building systems capable of meeting the needs of their own populations.

The Colonial Clock: Who Designed Africa's Retirement Models? We talk about colonialism’s obvious legacies in Africa: IMF structural adjustment programmes, debt traps, "aid" tied to economically-crippling policy changes, externally-fueled conflicts and t*rror... But what about those colonial legacies which we have normalized so much, we barely even notice or question them? What if we told you that even the age at which you are allowed to retire as an African is just another Western colonial weapon fashioned against you? @sannario_ reports for The Spearhead.

Russia-Africa Summit Vs France-Africa Summit: Compare And Contrast Delegations from 48 of Africa's 55 countries were present in Moscow at the recent Russia-Africa Summit where multiple infrastructure, energy, defence and economic cooperation deals were signed to further dependent Africa's relationship with the world's foremost nuclear power and 8th largest economy. In this analysis, senior reporter Mckay Chukwu highlights and compares the stark difference in purpose, engagement, and meaningful results recorded at this summit in contrast with those recorded at France's so-called "Africa Forward" summit in Nairobi, Kenya in May 2026.
