Bibi should recognize the UN definition of the Golan/israeli border to shrink the Knesset in order to have an outright majority. This is what a real hardcore political weasel would do

There's a real irony here. Netanyahu is essentially impossible to dislodge - at least permanently, without a govt susceptible to falling at any moment - bc nobody in Israel will cooperate or negotiate in any way with Israeli Arabs. The "opposition" done in by their own bigotry.
Eisenkot’s dilemma:
1. His failed “change coalition” will be crushed at a second election if they use the Jihadi-supporting Joint List to “stick it to the right” and temporarily get their Bibi scalp.
2. If he doesn’t, but also doesn’t partake in some form of unity coalition, Netanyahu, from the comfort of the Prime Minister’s chair, will run out the clock and call new elections in May, in which he will do better, since he lost 5% of the right-wing votes to Winter’s and Hendel’s failed start-up parties. Also, events in the region—war with Iran, and perhaps peace with the Saudis—will likely play to Netanyahu’s favour.
3. So the smart play for him is to offer Netanyahu his party in a unity coalition, but he comes with a very weak hand, since he won’t be able to bring the leftists under Golan with him, or Liberman’s party (whose entire career is focused on unseating Netanyahu).
And what would be in it for Netanyahu? Netanyahu is aware of points 1 and 2 above. He could simply play out the clock, let the negotiations fail, blame Eisenkot, and come back with the extra few seats he needs in May. Would he betray his reliable hard-right and Haredi allies for what could be a short-term coalition? Unlikely.
The problem is that when someone has the choice of who gets to extort them, nobody gets to do it. And that is the definition of power. Optionality. All Eisenkot’s options are bad, all Netanyahu’s are good.

Forcing Eisenkot to commit political suicide and completely demolishing israels international reputation
Lion.
Israel’s Avigdor Liberman has reportedly cut contact with opposition leaders Gadi Eisenkot and Naftali Bennett, preferring that Eisenkot join a unity government with Netanyahu.
Liberman maintains he will not join a Netanyahu-led government himself or support a minority government reliant on Arab parties.

Cannot be stated enough: Netanyahu is one of the greatest politicians in the history of mass politics. Up there with FDR. Truly a travesty

This bridge troll has never been cancelled. She's gotten film roles, prestige magazine essays, and other perks despite not being funny or particularly talented.
"Cancelled" is just a vibe edgy leftists want without experiencing it.
“Every possible -ism and -phobia and moral impropriety has been ascribed to me since I began my largely pro-bono career as an internet girl,” writes Ivy Wolk.
In a new essay, the 22-year-old comedian and actor reflects on the way her dark thoughts about her own self-image are interpreted as “soulless edgelord fare” — and all the times she’s been canceled since she started posting her comedy online as a teen, including when children once decided en masse that she was a “whorish foil” to a famous friend of hers.
“As much as I wish for anonymity or a slate wipe sometimes, I am grateful for the perspective I’ve aggregated and the ways in which I have been challenged never to abandon my beliefs and my unbounding love for other people,” Wolk writes. “It cannot harden me, it cannot isolate me from community, and it cannot remove me from public life.”

Internet classics like “You still have Time to Delete This” are great examples of this. There’s a constant sense in progressive world that you’re being graded. For people who move away from progressivism, this sense of being watched becomes intolerable, but not as intolerable as the sense that these people actually LIKE this setup and find it more of a comfort than an imposition

Obviously, I’m not suggesting that no conservative audience would ever, like, shout, “oh come on” at something they heard at a speech.
But there’s definitely something specific to the way in which liberals audibly signal social conformity — the nervous laughter and gasping — the way in which they repeatedly ask if that’s something you really believe, as though they want to give you a chance to show everybody that you don’t.

Leftism has always been about the acquisition and consolidation of power.
Which is precisely why you see a complete lack of principles, intellectual honesty, or consistency among Leftist advocates.
Those things are only a means to an end and if the end requires jettisoning them, so be it. The ability to hold mutually contradictory positions on a variety of issues enables them to assemble a larger coalition to obtain political power.
This is why you see the far-Left embrace both Islam and Transgenderism at the same time.
It’s how they can claim that everything is violence except for actual violence, which is simply an act of “decolonization” to be publicly celebrated.
It’s also why they can endorse the Nazi ideology of “blood and soil” when it comes to claims of “stolen” or “occupied” land, while simultaneously arguing for open borders and declaring that “no immigrant is illegal.”
The ability to hold mutually contradictory positions on a variety of issues enables them to assemble a larger coalition to obtain political power.

What do you do if you get a bad king? Well that’s actually a pretty straightforward problem to solve. What do you do when local planning commissioner finds you’re in violation of a law that’s impossible to know, appeal, or even find anyone in support of?

Yup. I saw it in New England; when Billy Evans said retorted to Seyfriend that yes, he did like Kirk, the audience gasped, some people laughed incredulously, etc.
It was THE BIGGEST REACTION the *entire* film got

Every single leftist family member and friend of yours is like this now. If you were killed for your politics they'd celebrate or at least excuse it
You can't post about how we need to crush the left and then grit your teeth while your leftist friend makes these jokes anymore
A military coup in America would be Kino. Some giant spectacle a President or Congress tries pulling gets stopped in its tracks by the Army and some obscure general anoints himself President, kicking his feet up on the resolute desk

Tyler Robinson needs to be publicly executed. Leftists cheer on violence because they don't think it has any consequences.
The defenders of assassination and political terror need to feel fear. It needs to be the most dominant emotion they feel.
At @UTSA for Pick Up the Mic, a student read a poem celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk with such glee, then told me I was brave to be out here without my neck covered.
I told her I’d pray for her.
This is the climate. We pick up the mic anyway.
