Multiple unnamed AI experts allegedly (a) think there is a 75% extinction risk, (b) continue to work on AI, and (c) refuse to report their estimates publicly. If you really think the risk is that high, you need to speak out, explain your estimate, and pause what you are doing.

This is brilliant. In @PunchEscrow I envisioned an auction system that allowed people to bid on speeding, such that if a driver wanted to get to her destination faster, she would compensate the other drivers on the road for letting her pass them.

Pilot project in Stockholm - photo radar cameras measure speed of passing cars. Those above the speed limit receive a fine. Those below are entered into a lottery for a chance to win a portion of the fines from speeders (up to $3000). Average speeds fell from 32km/h to 25 km/h.
