New blue post on gold buying: some players are already running into a new system called a Temporary Economy Hold. If your account gets flagged for RMT, either selling or receiving, you lose trade, mail, guild banks and the Auction House while Blizzard investigates. The point is to freeze suspicious gold before it gets moved or put into circulation, instead of chasing it after it's already in the economy.
They say a normal player is unlikely to ever see it, and they're upfront that the system is new so there may be false positives while it gets tuned. If the flag turns out to be false the hold comes off on its own once they've looked, with no permanent strike on the account. If it was RMT, you get the account actions.
So essentially a stranger handing you a pile of gold can now lock your mail and AH while Blizzard looks at it, even if you end up cleared. And if it works, they say it goes to every version of WoW.

Streamers Are Switching to PvE Servers for Wow Forever
Streamers including Asmongold have decided to go PvE for WoW Forever (unless it's an elaborate bait..)
The stated reasoning is essentially "WPVP is fun, but getting constantly interfered with (griefed) while turning in quests, doing raids, etc is just annoying."
A valid point, especially considering that WoW Classic features legendary 5+ minute runbacks whenever you wipe.
Meanwhile players want to roleplay, and there is no PvP roleplay option (yet) despite strong interest.
