I’m walking through the mall right now, and I’ll tell you something… I haven’t seen anything like this in YEARS! This place is PACKED! I mean, Christmas-shopping-season packed, and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet! But it’s not just the crowds. There’s something different about the atmosphere. People are smiling. Families are walking around together. Couples are holding hands. People are laughing, shopping, eating, and actually enjoying being out in public. And you know what? It feels GOOD! For years, we’ve been hearing that malls are dying, everybody shops online, and nobody wants to leave the house anymore. We’ve spent so much time staring at screens, ordering everything from Amazon, and having our lives delivered to our front doors that somewhere along the way, we forgot how much fun it was just to GO SOMEWHERE! Maybe people are finally getting tired of living their entire lives through a damn phone. Maybe they’re remembering that there’s a whole world outside their living rooms, and you don’t have to click LIKE to enjoy it. I don’t know if what I’m seeing today is happening all across America, but I sure hope it is. Because standing here watching all these people enjoying themselves, I can’t help but feel a little nostalgic for the America where Saturday afternoons at the mall were actually something people looked forward to. I have a feeling malls might be making a comeback. And if they are, I’m all for it! Now, if we can just bring back Sears, RadioShack, Orange Julius, and a food court where you can eat for less than the price of a car payment, we’ll really be getting somewhere! Maybe the mall isn’t dying after all. Maybe it’s America remembering how to LIVE again. Are malls making a comeback where you live, or is your local mall still looking like the set of a zombie apocalypse movie?

President Donald J. Trump shared my post on Truth Social. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
A lot of yammering about Republican turnout. Greg Abbott (Respected Moderate) EXCEEDED his 2022 midterms performance by 100K votes (and counting). He garnered more votes than any Republican Gubernatorial candidate in Texas history. The problem is Gina Hinojosa gained 1.7 million votes more than Beto O'Rourke. Those are Looney Tunes numbers. Hinojosa got 400K more votes in Texas than Kamala Harris in 2024. She's got more than Joe Biden in 2020 by 5,000 votes and counting. These are not normal midterms numbers. These are retard numbers. Not a single opinion poll before the elections came close to predicting this. Lines at the polling places in Texas should have been around the block to get these results. Unfortunately too many Conservative Thought Leaders are more concerned about screaming "I told you so" and polishing their resumes for 2028 for the upcoming DeSantis-Vance feuds.

I'm not an electon-denier, nor an election-denier-denier. But when numbers don't line up with a reasonable explanation we can't have confidence in elections. My first line of suspicion is when a party says, "You can't look and you are suspect for asking". Democrats perform a lot of drama about Democracy but a lot of suspicion about asking basic questions about the security of voting. If Abbot and many Republicans performed normally, why did Democrat votes in a midterm perform so much better than a general election under Biden or Harris or any other midterm? I've seen how Abbott performed better than previous elections but his Democrat opponent got 1.7 million more votes than Harris did. I looked up census data and asked how many people migrated from Liberal states like California to Texas in the last ten years and it was only 1 million people. Assuming 100% voted in the midterms for Abbott's opponent, it still falls short of any explanation I can think of. Maybe some Democrats can explain their reason. Did the party not have a good get-out-the-vote in 2020 and 2024 and suddenly they discovered one? Or maybe a Republican can explain why we thought a cheat happened in 2020 and somehow Democrats where able to create enough fake mail-in ballots or have enough illegals voting to account for 1.7 million votes? Accusations aren't enough without hard evidence, and if 1.7 million people cheated, someone would have a smoking gun. Not a magic "Soros did it!" but real evidence because it would be everywhere. No Democrat can convince me not to look or ask the question but no Republican should be satisfied with an easy accusation. The Arizona audit in 2021 made the most sense because people actually looked at ballots and tried to use forensics to explain something, even if it didn't produce anything reliable. If no explanation is needed, then I hope Republicans implement the same system the Dems did for 2028 and flip New York, California, Washington, Maine and Oregon with 1.7 million "voters" coming from nowhere and no investigation or explanation allowed. If this is how elections are done, then both sides need to be able to do the same thing.
I ran the numbers. With the exception of Ken Paxton*, Texas Republican midterm statewide candidates slightly outperformed historical expectations. Democrats UNPRECEDENTEDLY outperformed them. Prior to 2026, it was rare for a statewide race candidate to outperform the presidential candidate of two years prior. In 2026, EVERY SINGLE STATEWIDE CANDIDATE obtained more raw votes than Kamala Harris. This has never happened before. Methods. I asked: What average % of the presidential vote does each Texas statewide race candidate get in the midterms, for each party? Then I compared what each candidate was expected to get, based on historical trends since 1992**, to what they actually got in 2026. The present figure is after adjusting for which party had a president in office; midterm turnout is on average higher for parties who lost the presidency. The unadjusted version is in the next, threaded post, for completeness. * Paxton would have lost even if he had performed at slightly above historical expectation, as other Republican candidates had, as you can see in the right-hand figure. ** Texas and national politics worked very differently before the 1990s, with many conservatives voting Republican for president and Democrat for state office. They are not comparable.

There's absolutely ZERO chance the US map changed from this in 2024 to this in 2026. Democrats CHEATED. There's no other explanation. It doesn't matter, though. Because the GOP won't ever do anything about it.
