The biggest investment in Infrastructure in Kwara till date was done by the PDP. Under PDP, the economy of Kwara state thrived enough that University graduates stayed back in Ilorin to start businesses. Do you know how many businesses have closed down in ilorin in recently?

A few hours ago, I had the privilege of engaging with members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm the NUJ Correspondents Chapel, Kwara State Chapter where I shared my vision, plans, and programmes to take our dear state to greater heights as the next Governor of Kwara State, Insha Allah, come May 29, 2027. Top on my agenda, as discussed with the journalists, is SECURITY a fundamental requirement for development. Our government will sustain collaboration with critical stakeholders to strengthen the security of lives and property of our people. Human capital development, agriculture, electricity, and rural infrastructure will also receive top priority when we come on board by the special grace of God. I commend the NUJ correspondent's Chapel for putting this interactive programme together and for providing me the platform to share with the public the programmes and policies that will shape my administration. Thank you, Kwara journalists. Together, we will build the Kwara of our dreams. SYD

In the coming election, if Governor AA has just one supporter, trust me, I’ll be that one voter. If he decides to contest for the presidency today, he has my vote without hesitation. I’ll support him all the way!

The development we’ve seen in 8 years of APC in Kwara >>>> 16 years of PDP in Kwara. And now they want to come back

“The primary school in my hometown, Gwanara which I attended, was founded by my father. He came to establish it at a time nobody wants to stay and work back home, he chose to relocate to Gwanara to start the school. That school today, has produced Professors, military generals, doctors among others. When I came onboard as the Speaker, the school was in a bad state and I am glad I facilitated the complete remodeling of the primary school with ICT facilities installed.” - Kwara APC gubernatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi (SYD) at the ongoing engagement with Journalists at the Kwara state NUJ Correspondents Chapel, Ilorin.

“In Baruten local government, we have over 500 villages and many of those villages had never seen a bulldozer before as at 2019. In the last 7years, I have personally opened up over 800kilometers of roads across Baruten local government and when we get to government #IwajuLaNlo

Kwara has moved forward and the best thing we can do is protect that progress and keep moving. Iwaju Lanlo!
The majority of those complaining about the current government are people who expect AA to spend money the way Bukola Saraki is blindly throwing money lavishly during his time. We know all politicians are thieves, but at least the masses want to see tangible results and development. AA is working, and the work is there for everyone to see. We may have different opinions, but Kwara deserves progress and sustainable development. May Kwara continue to grow and prosper! Once again, to all Nigerian politicians, remember that God will judge you all. The people deserve better.

The difference is clear for everyone to see. Eight years of APC administration in Kwara have brought a new level of development, infrastructure and renewed direction that speaks for itself. What took years to achieve in the past cannot be compared to the visible progress we are witnessing today. What is even more surprising is that those who had 16 years to demonstrate what they could offer are now seeking another opportunity to return. Return to do what exactly? Recycle the same old political agenda, revive an era of one-man dominance and expect Kwarans to forget the past? Kwara has moved beyond that chapter. We cannot afford to mortgage the progress we have made for political nostalgia and empty promises. The people can see the difference and development is not something you need to shout about when the evidence is everywhere. Iwaju Lanlo! We are moving forward and continuity is the way to go. No going back! #IwajuLanlo #KwaraIsMovingForward

That alone is enough to show how far Kwara State has progressed and how much development the state has witnessed over the years. The Kwara of today is significantly different from what we used to have in the past, when the affairs and resources of the state appeared concentrated in the hands of a single individual or a particular circle. Today, under the purposeful leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwara has witnessed remarkable progress across different sectors. The level of development, transformation and opportunities we are seeing today is far greater than what was achieved during those previous years. The difference is clear and the evidence of progress speaks for itself. #IwajuLanlo
It’s how Kwarans use to forget we had a governor from 2011 until 2019 😂😭😂

I don't think he's closing over the fine details. However, the man has done a lot in his own way in private practice. He's the CEO of sunsteel industries and they produced the metal for the rail tracks used in the Lagos blue line. They also make barb wires and all these security metal fences. He's been everywhere doing wonderful things before he put his hat in politics. Hopefully, you will also get to see more of his impact in the coming days. Well done brother.
You want to sell a candidate, you toot him as diff - from private sector/ manufacturing but you're silent on what exactly he manufactures. Tell us the company he built & the product he makes, that will be a more compelling comms. Why gloss over the most important details?

Yesterday, I joined party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and fellow APC faithful at a special prayer session organised for all APC candidates in the Kwara South Senatorial District. The gathering at Ajase-Ipo Motor Park, Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area, was an opportunity to seek God's guidance, blessings, protection and success for our party and all its candidates as we continue our collective journey towards greater progress. I remain committed to purposeful representation, inclusive development and a better Kwara south. Together, with faith, unity and determination, the future is promising. Yesterday, I was represented by my deputy, H.E. Kayode Alabi, for the foundation-laying of the clinical building complex of Thomas Adewumi University Teaching Hospital (TAUTH) Oko-Irese in Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area. I am impressed that our administration's partnership with the institution is already yielding results. Upon completion, the facility will promote medical education, improve human resources in health, and contribute significantly to increasing access to quality healthcare delivery. TAUTH's clinical building complex is more than just erecting bricks and mortar. It is an enduring legacy for generations of Kwarans to come. I commend the founder of the University, Dr Johnson Bamidele Adewumi, and the entire management and staff for being committed to excellence and for being worthy partners in state-building. Our administration will continue to partner with various stakeholders to attract investments and cause meaningful development across our communities. I urge the Omu-Aran community to continue to support the initiative.
