This is well meaning but annoys me
Why talk about algorithms/hate -leave that for another day
Start with: Happy St George’s Day
This is my England
St George’s Day is more than football fans can we drop the constant football references
Our culture isn’t just football
Thank you

We've decided to take your creative lead, Kris.
Thanks for the #Inspo
Port Vale have the worst logo in English football.
If you paid someone to design this you should ask for a refund.
If someone within the @OfficialPVFC organisation designed it, they need sacking.
It’s a disgrace to club badges across the football pyramid.

The “Everyone is 12 now” theory truly is foundational for our times.

A source sent me this photo of Kash Patel’s customized Nike’s. The shoes feature a number 9 (Patel is the 9th FBI director), a Punisher skull (a vigilante killer from Marvel Comics), and his personal logo (K$H). The backs of the shoes show the FBI motto: "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity". Patel was photographed wearing them at an FBI Academy event that featured UFC fighters.

I'm sure the comments and reaction to this will be measured and sensible.

I know a lot of people won’t believe it but it will have been a genuine error. Two hours to edit down a programme isn’t long. They will have simply missed it. I hope some lowly producer/editor doesn’t get the sack.
I once transmitted a programme containing the word ‘cunt’ in a thick Scottish accent, the very experienced journalist and editor simply missed it. On transmission it was the first thing I heard.
People do make mistakes, we’re human.
NEW: BBC to undertake a fast-track investigation into how a racial slur was broadcast in its coverage of the Baftas.
Tim Davie has ordered the review - growing anger within the BBC over the failure and why it remained on iPlayer for 15 hours.

Orwell’s 1984 is without doubt a masterpiece, a warning about totalitarianism, surveillance, and the manipulation of truth
Yetin modern Britain, it has been co-opted as a rhetorical bludgeon, wielded by those who see dystopia in every policy they dislike.

Wrote this about the new(ish) style tribe taking over every vacant commercial property in your town: The Normans.

Here's the problem. People think council tax pays for bins. What they don't realise is that council tax is - absurdly - how we pay for care in this country.
Your council tax is going on the rising cost of adult social care as more people live longer & need more care. Not bins.
