This explains the PR ballot for 4 November #CapeTown #SouthAfrica #LGE2026 . It presents a scenario where the party you choose has one seat in city council, and 8 parties voted 22 yes and 22 no, and YOUR party has the deciding vote.

Fact.
[WATCH] BLACK PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING IN DA LED MUNICIPALITIES.
If you want to see black people suffering you must look no further than those who live in DA led municipalities such as Cape Town, our people are not taken care of by those ones. Now they want to do the same in the Eastern Cape and in Johannesburg. We must make sure this doesn’t happen and our people are well taken cared of and that can only happen if the ANC retains power.

Its giving desperate and swart gewaar! Any party can get their media friends to put up fake polls showing they're leading but the comments dont lie. Ignore the post and go straight to the comments. The DA is done and now they're pretending only they can save you 👇👇👇
Who will govern your town after 4 November?
When votes are split, smaller parties can end up deciding who holds power.
And when politicians fight over positions, it's residents who risk losing out on reliable services.
Your town. Your future. Your choice.
STOP THE CHAOS. START SERVICE DELIVERY. VOTE DA!

Brett Herron, GOOD CPT Mayoral Candidate, joined fellow party representatives to debate the future of Cape Town, tackling issues such as housing, safety, service delivery and economic growth.
GOOD's vision for 2026 is clear: a city that works for all, with well-run communities, dignified housing opportunities, safer neighbourhoods, and one standard of service for every resident, regardless of where they live.

One week, #SouthAfrica, #midterms . This is what the PR ballot for Local Government Elections is.
Parties saying they're the only party big enough or strong enough, are misleading you. The only reason they're that big is because they received votes..

#CricketTwitter thankyou to everyone at Newlands today who asked me about the cricket hìstory on my poster regarding my uncle being the first spin bowler to take 5 wickets in a test for South Africa. I don't know if the cameras found my @NeilManthorp poster on the other size
The @Our_DA and @geordinhl can tweet as much as they want. I'll just reply with the situation in #CapeTown and what one is actually voting for on the PR ballot.

Understand proportional representation. Know what you are voting for on the PR ballot. You are voting for an individual who best represents YOUR beliefs in city council

Understand #proportionalrepresentation. Parties don't want you to. They say to form a strong opposition, but you can vote for what you believe to be represented in council.

The DA's propaganda machine is working overtime.
Some of us know that the DA has been declining in local government elections.
Wha will suddenly make it grow now? Will the decline of the ANC lead to the DA growth? Absolutely not.
The ANC's decline will boost MK and EFF.

GOOD representatives met with residents of Covid Informal Settlements in Ward 118 to follow up on the stalled road construction project, which has yet to resume, with no explanation given to the community.
GOOD’s pledge for An Equitable City focuses on ensuring that all communities receive the same standard of infrastructure and services. Residents deserve answers about the delays and action to ensure that road projects are completed, rather than being left waiting without information.
