The Biden Administration's #nuclearenergy agenda has arguably been the boldest in decades, and this announcement does nothing to contradict that. The focus now should be on the buildout domestic uranium enrichment capacity to secure our nuclear fuel supply.
This is absolutely misleading. @POTUS has made tremendous progress for nuclear energy.
We don't lack raw uranium. We do need enrichment capacity that Russia dominates.
Will the GOP adequately fund DOE's domestic fuel infrastructure? THAT would increase US energy security.
