One Ohio Republican said Acton’s elderly mother was “far gone” and visibly unwell when Vivek's team, along with ad firm the Strategy Group, filmed with her.
Two people with knowledge of the matter say that even the Ohio GOP’s lieutenant governor candidate, Robert McColley, expressed reservations about the anti-Acton ad – though he is now forced to publicly defend it on the campaign trail.
