Southwest Airlines debuts a special new livery aircraft in honor of America's 250th birthday: Independence One, registration N1776R. Perhaps most eye-catching: "Red, white, and blue paint scheme with 1776 written in giant quill script, and the key phrase, 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' from the Declaration of Independence and the three inalienable rights endowed to all humans," the airline says. The ranking members of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees have written a letter to President Trump asking whether he has been soliciting advice from Grok in order to help carry out his official duties as President of the United States. They also demanded that he preserve any prompts sent to Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, as well as outputs in response to those prompts, that were 'submitted to AI chatbots in carrying out your constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties.' The letter was provided by Politico.

Never forget: russia has spent centuries trying to erase Ukrainian identity. In late October 1937, during Stalin’s Great Terror, Soviet authorities began mass executions at Sandarmokh. Between October 27 and November 4, 1,111 prisoners were executed there, including 287 Ukrainians and people connected to Ukraine. Les Kurbas. Mykola Kulish. Valerian Pidmohylny. Among the victims were leading figures of the Ukrainian cultural renaissance of the 1920s — the Executed Renaissance. 89 years later, russia is still trying to erase Ukrainian identity. They tried to erase us then. They will not erase us now.

Russian forces have begun taking civilians from occupied Oleshky to Russia, apparently disregarding previously announced agreements governing the operation. The operations are being conducted by the Russian military, without American representatives or teams from either side’s ombudsman office present. Russia’s state news agency TASS is openly filming the operation. There is no indication that civilians are being given a choice of where they wish to go. No buses or other vehicles designated to transport evacuees to Ukrainian-controlled territory are visible. The operation raises serious concerns that Russia is once again exploiting a humanitarian evacuation to forcibly transfer Ukrainian civilians. The parallels with the evacuation of Mariupol’s Azovstal steel plant are disturbing. Once again, Moscow appears to be disregarding agreed procedures while controlling the fate of Ukrainian civilians.

Meet "fish" or "fisherofsea" You can find him taunting US soldiers and their living conditions during deployment, while at the same time, joining Twitter Spaces and proclaiming how the US is going to crush Iran and everything will be glorious. If you look at his timeline, it becomes clear within seconds. He is a Russian propagandist, spreading all kinds of lies about Ukraine. Actively cheering for its demise. His bio literally says: "RIP Ukraine." And yet, he goes into Spaces and talks about how great the US is for starting a war with Iran. Why? Because this is what propagandists do. They identify cracks within other countries, and exploit them. In this case, the crack is America's war with Iran. If you can come across as being sympathetic to America's fight, or position yourself as "the enemy of your enemy," then you've effectively wormed your way inside the good graces of gullible Americans who don't really understand what they're dealing with in the first place.... These people are not allies, and they're not friends. They have ulterior motives. Dangerous ones. And giving them a platform to reach a sizeable audience is completely at odds with America's interests, and I find it to be, frankly, disturbing.

Italy’s Ministry of Defence said it could not provide further details pending more precise information, particularly regarding the condition of the personnel. EUFOR Althea has been deployed in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2004, following NATO’s post-war peacekeeping mission.

Bild: Russia may be preparing an offensive on Kherson after the ceasefire in Oleshky Ukrainian military personnel said they had detected movements of Russian troops and equipment during a temporary ceasefire in Oleshky. They believe Russia may use the truce to prepare an offensive that could begin after November 1. According to the Ukrainian military, Russian trucks are transporting combat units, while anti-drone nets are being installed in the industrial zone of Kakhovka. A large number of Grad multiple-launch rocket systems have reportedly been deployed in a forest near Radensk, where shelters are also being reinforced. Residents of Hola Prystan have also reported movements of Russian military trucks. One source quoted by Bild said Russian drone units were approaching the Dnipro River and did not rule out an attempt to cross it after the ceasefire ends.

China’s state-linked Weichai Group just took effective control of Ferretti Group, locking in 8 of 9 board seats in a May 2026 shareholder vote. The Italian yacht builder behind Riva and Pershing also runs a security division that builds high-speed patrol vessels. Ferretti’s Florida facility sits near Port Everglades and the Coast Guard Station. After the board shift, Florida’s Attorney General launched an investigation under the state’s law restricting property ownership by foreign principals from countries of concern, including China. Sen. Rick Scott is calling for Congress to address it in November. This follows the same pattern as WH Group’s long-standing majority ownership of Smithfield Foods and Chinese stakes in U.S. port terminals. How many more critical assets stay exposed?
We have a major problem happening in our country with Communist China taking ownership in more U.S. companies. We are seeing it play out with Smithfield Bacon…and now, we have it with Ferretti Yachts in Florida. I keep sounding the alarm on the threat of Communist China. This is a national security issue that Congress must address when we get back in November. loomered.com/2026/09/15/chin…

Ukraine’s HUR says Russia had around 140 Su-34 fighter-bombers in service as of October 22. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, HUR counts 43 destroyed and another 7 damaged. If reports that two Su-34s were destroyed in today’s strike on Marinovka airfield are confirmed, total destroyed losses would rise to 45 and the operational fleet estimate to roughly 138. Russia is estimated to produce 14-18 Su-34s annually. #Russia
❗️❗️Russian sources report that a strike on Marinovka military airfield in Volgograd region destroyed two Su-34 fighter-bombers. The airfield is used by Russia’s 11th Composite Aviation Regiment. Two servicemen were reportedly killed and two others wounded. #Russia

The horrific screams of "Tato! Tato!" (meaning "Dad! Dad!") will haunt my dreams forever. Russian terrorism must be stopped. It must be! To strike a busy railway station full of civilians just to punish us is completely inhuman, next-level barbarism. I struggle to convey my disgust, my rage... and sorrow. Why was it done, why kill people like this? To say "we are letting Oleshky evacuate, but we will still keep murdering you?" I cant wrap my mind around it. I can't. Why? Why?? 14 people are dead after the russian strike on a railway station in Dnipro.

🇩🇪🇱🇹NEW: GERMANY TO STRENGTHEN ELECTRONIC INTELLIGENCE CAPABILITIES ON NATO'S EASTERN FLANK Germany plans to equip its permanently stationed brigade in Lithuania with advanced electronic warfare capabilities, strengthening NATO's ability to monitor Russian and Belarusian military activity. The capabilities support: • Detection and analysis of radar and radio emissions. • Identification and geolocation of electronic emitters. • Monitoring of military activity near Kaliningrad and Belarus. • Improved situational awareness and intelligence sharing with NATO allies. Germany's 45th Armoured Brigade is expected to reach full operational capability in 2027. Why this matters: Kaliningrad hosts significant Russian military infrastructure, including air-defence systems, radar installations and electronic warfare assets. A permanent German presence with dedicated electronic intelligence capabilities could strengthen NATO's ability to detect changes in Russian military activity and improve early warning along the alliance's eastern flank. This is another indication that Germany's deployment to Lithuania is about more than conventional armoured forces. It is also about strengthening NATO's intelligence and surveillance capabilities.
