One of my subscribers asked me what the connection is between $YELLOW and $XRP. I went deep on it, and what I found is way bigger than a simple integration. First, the direct connection is real. Chris Larsen, Ripple’s co-founder and executive chairman, led Yellow Network’s $10M seed round. Then Yellow integrated the XRPL EVM Sidechain. And this is already inside Yellow’s production documentation: XRP and USDT are supported on XRPL EVM, chain ID 1440000. So developers using Yellow can already build financial applications where XRP is part of the actual environment. Now understand what Yellow is building. Yellow uses state channels so trading apps, brokers, exchanges and AI agents can move balances around offchain, then settle the final result onchain. Instead of sending every single trade to a blockchain, participants can trade repeatedly inside a funded channel and settle later. That becomes very interesting when you bring XRP liquidity into it. A market maker could keep XRP inside these applications as working inventory. A broker could keep XRP balances available for customer trades. An AI trading agent could hold XRP, rebalance positions, trade against stablecoins or use it inside multiparty settlement. And Yellow is already pushing heavily into autonomous finance. They partnered with Deep3 Labs around AI-driven trading. They joined Internet Court, led by the GenLayer Foundation, for multiparty AI-agent settlement. They partnered with MOI technology so agents can operate under defined limits like position size, approved markets, budgets and trading hours. Yellow also connected to Arc, Circle’s stablecoin-focused network, while explicitly naming XRPL among its connected ecosystems. So now imagine AI agents moving USDC across one network and trading XRP through another, with Yellow coordinating the clearing between them. That can create a reason for professional firms to actually hold XRP as liquidity. And the math gets interesting. At a hypothetical $1B daily Yellow-connected volume, with 20% involving XRP and liquidity providers holding two days of inventory, that works out to around $400M worth of XRP, or roughly 289.86M XRP at $1.38. At $5B daily volume, the same model reaches about 1.45B XRP held as working inventory. Those are scenarios, not current Yellow volumes. But they show where the real upside can come from. One important thing: $YELLOW and $XRP are completely different assets. $YELLOW has a fixed 10B max supply and is used for Yellow services, developer access, broker registration and node collateral. XRP is used as gas on XRPL EVM and can become trading liquidity, channel balances, collateral and settlement capital when applications choose it. So I’m not bullish on XRP because Yellow charges fees. I’m bullish on the possibility that Yellow brings more apps, market makers and autonomous agents into XRP markets, giving them a reason to buy it, hold it and actually use it. And with Chris Larsen backing Yellow from the start, Alexis Sirkia bringing institutional market-making experience from GSR, plus Consensys, Cobo, Gate Labs and others around the ecosystem, I’m watching this very closely. $YELLOW is building the network. $XRP could become working capital inside it. That connection makes a lot more sense to me now. How many AI agents could eventually need XRP sitting in their wallets?

The internet is going into a LOCKDOWN. Hundreds of millions of websites are potentially at risk from cyberattacks. Governments, banks and major platforms have already taken their websites OFFLINE. Many are already calling it “Black October.” At the centre of the shutdowns is something most of us have never heard of, but use every day. PHP, the software behind roughly 7 in 10 websites, has two critical flaws that can let hackers break in without a password. Dubbed PHP2Shell, both are rated 9.2 out of 10 for severity. Details began circulating on Oct 20. Emergency fixes arrived the next day, but attackers were already moving. Cloudflare’s CEO says hacking attempts then jumped from thousands to MILLIONS within hours. Cybersecurity agencies across several countries are telling PHP site owners the same thing: Patch it now, or take it offline. Websites have gone dark worldwide, from government portals and hospitals to banks. CrowdStrike warns these attacks leave almost no trace, so some sites may not know if they’ve been hit. Around 2.6 MILLION internet-facing servers run PHP, potentially hosting hundreds of sites each. Over 1.1 million use older versions no longer receiving official PHP updates. Older installations may need an upgrade to a supported PHP version or a fix from their software provider. And patching does not remove a backdoor an attacker may already have planted. Cloudflare also says hackers are now tweaking their attacks to try to slip past its protections. But PHP isn’t the only security story unfolding. -Japan’s Onamae suspended ALL Desktop Cloud plans after malware was found on customer servers. -India’s eMudhra had 8 website-certificate keys so weak, one was literally the number “4”. -State Bank of India confirmed 3,897 customer records on the dark web. -Criminals used AI agents to break into 400+ Latin American banks. -Capcom confirmed a breach exposing 11.7 million email addresses. -GitLab disclosed a 10/10 severity flaw in versions going back to 2014. -LiteLLM removed a malware-containing release. Railway reported possible exposure of customer secrets. None of these has a confirmed link to PHP2Shell. We’re seeing separate breaches unfold together. The true number of incidents could take months to come out. The world is still on alert. Attacks are still coming.

🚨 JAPAN IS PREPARING SOMETHING THAT COULD BRING THE ENTIRE DOLLAR SYSTEM TO ITS KNEES. 🇯🇵 MUFG, Mizuho and Sumitomo Mitsui, Japan’s THREE banking giants, have now completed a joint stablecoin pilot for cross-border settlements. Remember the warnings attributed to the mysterious BoJ insider @yutokanzakireal? The reverse yen carry trade. The dollar liquidity shock. The activation of $XRP and DNA Protocol. What if Japan isn’t simply modernizing payments, but quietly preparing the infrastructure to REDUCE its dependence on the US dollar? Imagine a disorderly yen carry trade unwind forcing global institutions to rethink how they move liquidity across borders. $XRP as a neutral bridge asset. @DNAOnChain providing the identity and compliance infrastructure. $XDNA powering that ecosystem. The pieces are beginning to look awfully interesting. Perhaps YUTO’s warnings deserve another look. Because if this theory plays out, Japan won’t merely be unwinding a carry trade. IT COULD BE UNWINDING DECADES OF DOLLAR DEPENDENCE. 👀🧬

People are still unsure whether XRP will reach $1,000. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Tokenized assets have grown rapidly, reaching roughly $65b. Yet they remain tiny compared with traditional capital markets’ $300t in assets. Our new GFSR explores the policy and market conditions needed for tokenization to scale safely: imf.org/en/blogs/articles/20…

Quant just published a 25-page institutional blueprint. The paper comes as tokenized commercial bank money moves from pilot programs into live infrastructure across the UK, U.S., Canada and Europe. Quant highlights four major initiatives: • Great British Tokenised Deposit in the UK, where 7 banks have completed live customer transactions on shared infrastructure built by Quant • The Clearing House’s On-Chain Money Initiative in the U.S., with Quant selected for interoperability, orchestration and transaction management and launch to participating institutions targeted for H1 2027 • A joint tokenized deposit initiative involving Canada’s 6 largest banks • Germany’s Commercial Bank Money Token initiative, now in pilot. The central argument is that putting deposits on a ledger is only the beginning. A ledger can record that money moved. It does not inherently tell a bank: • Why it moved • Which obligation it satisfied • Who authorized it • What conditions had to be met • What external systems it depended on • When the obligation was actually complete • What happens if part of the transaction fails Quant calls this concept ‘economic intent.’ The paper separates institutional infrastructure into six responsibilities: • Economic intent • Institutional control • Programmability • Orchestration • Money and posting model • Execution and settlement The first four sit above the ledger. The final two relate to the underlying money and settlement infrastructure. One example in the paper makes the distinction: A customer asks a bank to pay a supplier £5 million after delivery is confirmed, with two approvals before a deadline. To the customer, that is one obligation. The infrastructure can generate 6 separate ledger entries, including a reservation, release, transfer, fee and status events. The point: Ledger activity measures the plumbing. The bank still has to preserve the economic meaning of the transaction. The paper also rejects the idea that one network will replace the existing financial system. Instead, Quant describes a future where: • Swift • RTGS systems • Domestic payment networks • Tokenized deposit networks • Asset platforms • Public and private ledgers all coexist. A connection to one does not automatically provide access, settlement eligibility or common legal treatment across the others. That makes orchestration a major part of the problem. A single financial instruction may need to cross multiple networks with different operating hours, settlement models and points of finality. Capital markets are where this becomes especially important. Quant says tokenized assets have advanced faster than the cash used to settle them. A bond can move on a ledger in seconds while the corresponding cash leg still settles through conventional infrastructure. The proposed model is programmable delivery-versus-payment (DvP): • Asset eligibility checked • Cash availability confirmed • Authority verified • Both legs reserved • Both execute together, or neither proceeds The same framework extends to FX payment-versus-payment, repo and collateral. Quant and Murex are already demonstrating this architecture. At Sibos, the companies showed a USD repo against a tokenized U.S. Treasury, with the cash leg in tokenized deposits and the transaction operated through Murex MX.3. One scenario completed through next-day recall. Another was deliberately rejected mid-execution and rolled back with no change to the ledger, account or inventory state. Finality remained with the designated settlement rail. The UK project is also moving into capital markets. Participating banks plan to issue 3 digital bonds in Q1 2027, traded and settled using tokenized deposits. The bigger signal in Quant’s paper is that institutional tokenization is moving beyond the question of: “Which blockchain will financial institutions use?” The harder question is becoming: How do banks coordinate money, securities, approvals, compliance and settlement across multiple systems without losing control of the transaction? Quant’s thesis is that the ledger is only one layer. The increasingly important infrastructure may be the stack sitting above it. @FusionLayer25 | @quantnetwork | @gverdian ethereum:0x4a220e6096b25eadb88358cb44068a3248254675

2 MAJOR @quantnetwork announcements $QNT up 20% 1. UK banks complete first live customer transactions using tokenised sterling deposits 2. The Clearing House will use Quant’s technology to bring on-chain capabilities to its tokenised deposit clearing and settlement network for financial institutions. + they will be doing a live demo with Murex at Sibos
This is a Sibos 2026 demo worth watching. Murex and @quantnetwork are going beyond talking about tokenization they're planning a live programmable settlement demonstration focused on one of the biggest challenges in tokenized capital markets: synchronizing the asset and cash legs of a transaction. The demo will use Murex MX.3 with Quant infrastructure to show synchronized delivery versus payment and even what happens when settlement conditions fail. The industry is moving from “can we tokenize an asset?” toward “how do we actually settle tokenized assets and money safely within existing institutional workflows?” LINK murex.com/en/events/sibos-mi…
