More victims of the interventional pain management scam: "I was told if I did not get the injections, they would cut off my pain meds. I got the injections as I had no choice. They did nothing for the pain. At least I still have my pain meds. The last injection they gave me had me absolutely in agony for 3 weeks. I will not have another injection" Have you been coerced into getting interventional pain procedures such as Epidural Steroid Injections or a Spinal Cord Stimulator in order to keep getting the pain medication you've been taking successfully for years? Share your story.

My retired aunt bought a 2-bedroom condo in North Carolina five years ago. Her monthly HOA fee was $158. She paid off her mortgage in full and lived on a fixed retirement pension. Last week, the HOA board called a mandatory emergency meeting over Zoom. They announced that due to "regional insurance re-assessments," monthly HOA fees were jumping overnight to $2,500 a month, plus a mandatory $10,000 special assessment due in 60 days. That is $30,000 a year just in HOA fees on a condo she already owns outright. When she called the state Attorney General’s office to report what felt like extortion, the clerk told her the cold truth: There are zero state statutes limiting how much an HOA board can increase fees. She has no mortgage, zero debt, and paid off her home in full, but she is being forced into foreclosure because an un-elected board voted on a video call to price her out of her own living room. You never truly own anything in America. They tell you to pay off your home for security, but the system just invented new corporate middleman licenses to rent your own property back to you.

The crashout over this is so disproportionate. A 14-yr-old can take care of siblings. Overnights are a bigger ask, but if there is an adult checking in regularly, as there was, that mitigates risk. An accident happening on a 14-yr-old’s watch is not proof the situation was criminally dangerous just as an accident on a parent’s watch wouldn’t be, and a lot of parents would not survive that scrutiny. It is a giant thing to take children out of their home, in this case actually making them far more in danger by putting them with someone with a restraining order, oops. The “harm” you are attempting to avoid by removing them from the home should be severe to take that action, and even in the reach charges they’ve attempted on this woman, they don’t allege large harm. People’s imaginations and desire to judge turn this into a situation of grave danger when it simply wasn’t. Humans are bad at risk calculation and great at imposing their own risk calculations and anxiety on others (please see Covid). And even that would be okay if they didn’t demand that people with different risk calculations and life circumstances were criminalized (please see Covid). I also think a lot of people don’t know how many teenagers and medium-grade kids are left at home alone while parents have to work odd hours, which is weird, because most of the people reacting grew up in the latchkey era.

Health insurance for 2027: The most you can save in an HSA went up $100. The most you can be billed out of pocket went up $1,400. The healthcare industry is a complete scam. Destroy it.

While I’m glad the New York Post is FINALLY reporting on the tragic death of Adrian at Lindale ISD, there are some VERY significant details they failed to mention. You failed to mention that the anti-choking device used on Adrian was ADULT-SIZED, and the school did not have a child-sized device available. You failed to mention that the Texas Rangers did not conduct a SINGLE independent interview with any of the school staff involved. You failed to mention the inconsistencies between the Texas Rangers’ investigative report and what the actual surveillance footage shows. You failed to mention the repeated confusion over who was responsible for calling 911. Even the school nurse did not personally make the call. Instead, someone in an office across the hall called 911, despite not being physically present with Adrian to communicate her condition directly to the dispatcher. You failed to mention the MULTIPLE instances in which Adrian exhibited signs of distress and needed help, yet adults failed to respond with the urgency her condition demanded. Instead, this little girl ended up RUNNING DOWN THE HALLWAY ALONE, desperately trying to get help. You failed to mention that statements from the involved school employees were collected by another Lindale ISD employee, rather than independently by the Texas Rangers, raising serious concerns about the independence of the investigation. And you failed to mention that Adrian’s parents are now requesting a NEW, independent investigation conducted by Texas Rangers outside of Smith County because of their concerns about how the original investigation was handled. These are some of the most critical aspects of this entire case, and they raise serious questions about the school’s response and the thoroughness of the investigation that followed. Adrian’s parents deserve answers. The public deserves the FULL story. And Adrian deserves more than a report that leaves out some of the most troubling evidence. Should I go on?

Why doesn’t Journavx work? Because it’s not an opioid The opiate is the only tried in true pain reliever we have The FDA only pushed this sodium channel blocker through because it wasn’t an opioid @VertexPharma has some of the dirtiest lobbyists in the country
Journavx is what they tried to push on me after a recent orthopedic surgery,it did absolutely nothing.

Yes, a standard insurance plan for two reasonable healthy middle-aged adults and their college-age son now costs $51,000 a year. Something has to change
New Unreported Truths: For this family of three in Alabama, health insurance will cost $51,000 a year in 2027. The system is collapsing.

Remember when I made that video about pharmacists withholding pain medication and it went viral because I called them “harmacists”? Thousands of pharmacists across the country started making videos about me, of course, after conveniently editing out certain parts of what I said. Then you had the so-called patient advocates aligning themselves with those same pharmacists, hoping to get a few likes and views at my expense. And now? Radio silence. Not a word from either group. Funny how that works.

At this point, the "horrific" insurance in the 80s that started this whole 'fixing' process by the feds is the best insurance people ever had. It was 80% insurance/20% individual until a fairly high deductible was hit. Few policies covered Rx though.

For those who refuse to read the articles about this case. She had a babysitter coming in the mornings to check in, make lunches, get them off to school, and prep dinner for them. All the 14 year old had to do was help them get inside after school. Microwave dinner. Get kids in bed and text mom updates. This was a work trip and they threatened to fire her if she did not go. The father has abuse charges and the police handed him their kids on top of arresting her.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested after getting off a plane after authorities said she left her four children home alone for four days while she traveled to Las Vegas for work: bit.ly/3UlVZeA

exactly. The accident wasn't because the kid was trying to walk to the store to buy infant formula. A 9 year old dropped a weight. The siblings got him immediate treatment. If you look at Florida DCF recommendations for staying home alone, it is: can the children get help from emergency services if needed. Clearly they can and did.

Accidents like this easily happen when parents ARE home. There is nothing here to suggest the child’s injury occurred specifically *because* mom was away. I have four children about those ages, slightly older, and no way can I constantly watch them every second of the day. My son recently had a bicycle fall riding to practice. He’s fine. It happens. Looking at the whole context, a babysitter coming in and out, limited time alone at those ages, I’m not sure this is a huge deal.

The Harmacist Strikes Again For anyone wondering why pharmacists are refusing to fill pain prescriptions, look at the fear created by opioid lawsuits, attorneys general, and billion-dollar settlements. While others profit from this crisis, innocent patients are paying the price. Cancer patients and people living with unbearable pain are being denied the relief they desperately need. Imagine watching someone you love suffer when medication could help them???? These are human beings not statistics. No one should be left to suffer in agony because the system has forgotten compassion. But not one member of Congress is willing to address this. That’s because they are busy handing out crack pipes, syringes, and fentanyl testing strips for drug addicts and then claiming harm reduction saves lives Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
So my daughter got a prescription and it was sent to @cvspharmacy , well now the pharmacy won't fulfill the prescription on the doctor's orders!!! CVS I'm gunna let you know my daughter has cancer and your pharmacist won't fulfill her prescription. The CVS AT: 4490 Paradise Rd 89169 Warning to CVS if this isn't fixed immediately you will have a war on your hands. Nursing homes bankrupt our grandparents. The aides who work there use food banks. Daycare eats a parent's whole paycheck. The providers make $10/hr and need second jobs. Where is all the money going?

yesterday a lateral incisor cracked in half. I bought a “prison tooth” thermoplastic emergency tooth kit kit off of Amazon to hide my shame. I want a zirconia implant, in my town a single front tooth is like 12,000 dollars. OUCH.

eurekalert.org/news-releases… What this doesn't address is how many who were diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder actually had OUD. If it even exists, at all. OUD is not opioid addiction. It was a made up "disease" by a workgroup funded by the companies who benefit. Pain pts were listed as their untapped market. Now sick, disabled pts in severe pain are being slapped with this diagnosis and pushed onto Suboxone. Where are the Netflix documentaries?

Another crazy incident in our old house (now sold) - We got visited by an official from the planning department for Bedfordshire Borough Council Why? Because Zoe’s (age 12) toy cafe got reported for illegal trading. I kid you not. We had to show the lady around our property to prove we weren’t running an illegal operation.
