Why aren’t you buying bitcoin at these prices, anon?
My good friend Monte Carlo and I ran Bitcoin out to 2034. 5,000 times 🎲 Not one run ended below today's $80K. The median finish: $1.48M 🚀 - - - Each line on the chart is one run, and the pink curve on the right shows the final distribution in 2034. Even the bottom 5% finish around $464K, almost 6x from here. He's very optimistic, and honestly so am I 😄

Seems pretty notable that despite all of the pivots to AI from miners, hash rate for bitcoin is quietly almost back at record highs

Franklin Templeton just found a way to get bitcoin to people who'd never in their wildest dream would buy it. Two ETFs registered on Nasdaq this week offering 95% big US stonks + 5% bitcoin. Every dividend the stocks pay buys more BTC. Boomers were always going to own bitcoin through an ETF without touching it. Now they don't even have to actively press buy because reinvesting dividends is a habit they've trusted their whole lives. That's how you sell anything new: Offer it with something people already like and let it ride. Honestly genius.

I’m grateful I found Bitcoin before Covid hit. It opened my eyes to the friction and permission it takes to run a real estate portfolio. Sold all my AirBnBs during the plandemic and saved 100% of those proceeds into something unswayed by a company’s policy shift.

Bitcoin is now used more than credit cards in El Salvador. • Used Bitcoin (2024): 8% (Iudop/UCA) • Active credit card users: 7% (World Bank) Both still lag far behind cash, but considering credit cards have had 50 years to catch on, bitcoin adoption is doing just fine.
Hey @grok what percentage of Salvadorans use Bitcoin and what percentage of Salvadorans use credit cards. How long has it taken credit card usage in El Salvador to reach this level?

Since 2013, there is not ONE month you could have bought Bitcoin and lost money if you held 4 years 🤯 Not one. This chart is every possible trade since 2013. Each pixel is a buy month and a sell month, colored by the annualized return. - - - Held 1-2 years: profitable 74% of the time Held 4+ years: profitable 100% of the time All the red zones along the diagonal: people who bought a top and sold within a year or two. If you step away from that line, it's blue and yellow as far as you can see. There is truly nothing else like this asset.

There are 2.1 quadrillion units of Bitcoin, not just 21 million. They’re called satoshis. Each BTC contains 100 million sats, the smallest unit being 0.00000001 BTC. With 8 billion people, that’s around 262,500 sats per person if divided equally. So when people say 21 million Bitcoin isn’t enough for the world, they’re missing the point. Bitcoin is scarce, but divisible enough to be shared across billions of people.

Introducing Bitwater: the water heater element that mines Bitcoin. It screws into the electric tank you already have. Physically decentralized mining that runs no matter what 🧵 Heat water. Mine Bitcoin. Same tank.
