Long before Africa by Road, in which we travelled to a total of 15 (17 if you included repeats) in east & southern Africa, we travelled (in 2016) from Uganda to Zimbabwe and back in a Toyota Rav4 Short Chassis. We were literally on steroids, accomplishing that in just 21 days. 😤

If you drive an old car like we do, start your journeys early because you never when the car decides to remind you of its age. But we were fine here! Just a brief pitstop in Soroti City CBD before tackling 400km of on-and-off roading. #SheDefenderAdventures #SheDefender
