Back in 2016 I was contemplating leaving Islam after going throug a spiritual crisis and homophobia.
Yet, as long as I can remember, I have always been fond of my Prophet (pbuh) and hold genuine love, respect and admiration for him. That stopped me from leaving Islam.

I am beyond disgusted by this vile and racist display. Diwali is an important holiday and our community should feel safe to celebrate it. This hateful display has no place in our city or this country.
HAPPENING NOW: Absolutely chaotic scene as conservative activists Jake Lang and Thomas Allen storm a Diwali Hindu celebration at the Seattle Center Armory.
They held signs that read, "Deport All Dot Heads" and "Stop Hindu Replacement of Christians."
I just spoke to both men who say they are concerned about American culture being overrun by false idol worshippers and H1-B fraudsters.
Lang and Allen say they will be targeting other locations in the city this weekend.
They have yet to announce details of their plans due to possible retaliation by Antifa and other far-left activists.
Stay tuned.

The gunman who killed six people and injured 16 in Krakow, Poland, is believed to have been inspired by far-right ideologies, Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said.
The suspect, a 25-year-old Polish citizen, reportedly held “very radical views” and used military weapons in the attack.
He was shot by police and remains hospitalized in serious condition.

Heartbreaking footage of a woman in Gaza overcome with exhaustion and grief. Having already lost her home to Israeli bombing, now her family's tent is flooded in the torrential rains.
So far, 70,000 tents have been submerged, and there have been over 1,500 distress calls from families there.

Pro-regime voices here accused her of spreading propaganda.

Jon Ossoff not only voted to officially make calling Israel "racist", an antisemitic act at the federal level, he also voted not once but twice to defund UNRWA and starve Gaza.
I am not "opposed" to Jon Ossoff, Jon Ossoff is my enemy.

Rural western Homs was torn apart by sectarian violence during Syria's revolution. In Talkalakh, thousands of Sunni residents were displaced, detained, or killed by regime militias. Yet after liberation, this area has seen a gradual return of peace and security.
My first for @SyriaDirect looks at how residents, civil society, and local officials have come together to rebuild inter-faith relations in this town. Talkalakh is another example of how powerful local initiatives can be, but also how fragile civil peace remains in post-Assad Syria.

Muslim candidates made historic gains in the U.S. midterms, led by Abdul El-Sayed, who becomes the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Senate after winning Michigan’s open seat.
El-Sayed, an Egyptian-American physician, beat Republican Mike Rogers despite facing anti-Muslim attacks during the campaign.
Adam Hamawy, an Egyptian-American surgeon and Army veteran who volunteered as a doctor in Gaza, becomes New Jersey’s first Muslim member of Congress.
Incumbents Rashida Tlaib in Michigan and Ilhan Omar in Minnesota were re-elected. Aisha Wahab, an Afghan-American, is projected to win a full term in California.
At the state level, Aber Kawas became the first Palestinian-American elected to the New York State Legislature, and Nabeela Syed flipped a Republican-held seat in Illinois’s state Senate.
Muslim community outlets count at least 36 Muslim candidates winning or leading in federal, state and local races, with seven or eight heading to Congress.
Many of these candidates ran on affordability, civil rights and opposition to unconditional U.S. military support for Israel.
Several faced heavy outside spending from pro-Israel groups.
