Irony of ironies: the same day that the US is accusing Cuba of all sorts of falsehoods at the UN, Marco Rubio snuck the criminal Flavio Bolsonaro out of Brazil to Miami so he can evade justice from Lula, the duly elected leader of his home country. Who is the real βregimeβ here?

Right now, Cuba needs our solidarity, not attacks from so-called progressives. Itβs our duty to end the blockade, end the sanctions, and stop our own governmentβs war on Cuba.

Republicans are trying to project unity on Venezuela, but the truth is that Trump double-crossed the Miami hardliners when he cozied up with Delcy. Miami worked behind the scenes to lobby Rubio for MCMβs return for months to no avail. Unlikely she even told Rubio of her plansβ¦
What is happening in Venezuela is a big deal. Hereβs why it matters:
@MariaCorinaYAβs fight for freedom was fueled by the bold and just actions of @POTUS and @SecRubio to pave the way for democracy in Venezuela. One does not happen without the other.
For the United States, this is a pivotal moment. As Secretary Rubio works toward securing free and fair elections, Maria has returned home. We are so close to a free, democratic, Venezuela - a nation which acts as a partner to the U.S. and asset to our national and economic security instead of a threat in our own backyard. This is what America First looks like in action πΊπΈ

There's no better gift against fascism than Lula's victory in Brazil today.
Congratulations Lula!

Lula should kick off his presidency and send a message to the U.S. and its cronies by sending oil to Cuba

Fun fact! The governor of Chihuahua is a conservative who attended Georgetownβs school of foreign service and is affiliated with the National Democratic Institute, which is more or less a tool of the U.S. foreign policy.

As Cuban Americans, we strongly condemn the U.S. oil blockade and the resultant collective punishment of the Cuban people.

I think that socialist/communist spaces really do suffer from letting radical liberals come into them and set the rules. Mass politics is an anathema to radlibs and individualist narcissism ends up being framed as somehow revolutionary when it is actual poison to movements.

RodrΓguez expressed her "deepest gratitude" to Trump, Rubio and the US govt for developing this deal, which she called a "historic milestone" in US-Venezuela relations. Confirmed that 17 "strategic oilfields" holding 65 billion barrels of reserves are now at the service of US interests. We're talking about more than 20% of the country's reserves.
RodrΓguez proudly claimed that this deal will strengthen the "energy security of the hemisphere." She's also followed Trump's tactic of just throwing out some big number, in this case saying that the deal will produce $209 billion in taxes. It's an awfully specific number. But $209 billion over how long? If it's a 100-year lease, that's $2 billion a year, which is merely 5-10% of current revenues. Selling sovereignty for a pittance

Nothing to see here, just one of the USβ most notable βChina scholarsβ pressing for Cuban genocide in our mainstream press. Advocates for βinterdicting food,β which is illegal under current US law, as well as solar panelsβwhich help Cuban families maintain basic food safety.

1. Realize the oil economy is slowly dying and you are WAY behind China in the green mineral economy.
2. Recolonize Latin America and steal their oil and mineral wealth.
3. Blow up the Middle East on your way out.
4. Retreat to the Western Hemisphere and try to catch up.
