Playground Games has finally explained why Forza Horizon 6 players are getting banned for their anime-style car designs, but the explanation isn’t going down well. In a statement posted on its Chinese social media account, the studio listed things that could trigger moderation, including “sleepy eyes”, “slightly parted lips” and “sexually suggestive clothing”. The studio also claimed that AI isn’t used for moderation and that only a small number of players have been punished. According to its figures, over 12.5 million designs were created in the past month, with fewer than 700 users receiving penalties. The statement was quickly deleted after facing backlash from gamers

Blizzard has taken a pretty clear shot at Pirate Software in its latest World of Warcraft: Forever trailer. Narrator Bill Bailey jokes about pirates in Booty Bay: “The type that goes soft and abandons you when things get tough.” It’s a reference to Pirate Software and the controversial Dire Maul raid incident in 2025. During a raid, Thor left his teammates behind while playing as a Mage, leading to the deaths of two players. The incident got him kicked out of the group.
