‘WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.’ But are we? My full documentary on the First World War. I’d be grateful if you could share it, particularly with younger Britons.

Why are we not being told why?
Today marks 1522 days, exactly 50 months since Nick Brown was suspended from the Labour party and we still haven't been told why Whatever it is, Labour wish to take it to their grave without the public knowing the truth

Today, Labour will remember them. Tomorrow, Labour will go back to prosecuting them.
Today, we honour all those who served and sacrificed for our country, and the freedoms their courage helped secure. We will remember them.

Nigel Farage lays a wreath at the cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday. This is the first time he's been allowed to do this. He's by far the most patriotic leader we have and it will mean a lot to him to show his respect. Lest we forget.

Nigel Farage laid a wreath at the Cenotaph today. Other leaders did too. He is the only party leader who believes the country those men died for is still worth defending.

Harry Patch, the last surviving British soldier of WW1, said: “If any man tells you he went into the front line and wasn’t scared, he’s a liar.” Nearly three in five British men of military age served in WW1. We must never forget what they sacrificed and endured.

Russell Brand has always been a sexual deviant; of that there’s no question. What concerns me is this: we can convict someone with no physical evidence and sentence them to a likely hefty prison stint- fine. But during the Pakistani grooming scandal, an aborted foetus from a 14-year-old girl matched the DNA of an older Pakistani man who was not convicted. I’m not upset Brand was convicted; I’m upset that the police, courts and judges treat perpetrators differently.

It will mean a huge amount to @Nigel_Farage to be laying a wreath at the #Cenotaph today. Good to see him there.

The Mail on Sunday says Kemi Badenoch has "stormed to an eight-point poll lead" over Nigel Farage, based on a survey by Conservative Party donor, former deputy chairman, and peer Lord Ashcroft, which puts Labour on 31 percent, the Conservatives on 26 and Reform UK on 18 Ashcroft does not ask people which party they would pick if there were an election tomorrow, he asks them to score from 0 to 100 how likely they are to vote for each party and then counts those whose highest score is at least 50, so someone who is 55 Conservative and 45 Reform still counts as Conservative, and someone who would pick Reform in a forced choice but will not give them 50 may not count as a Reform voter at all That structurally benefits Labour and the Conservatives, because people already carry residual affinity for the parties they have voted for before, and former YouGov president Peter Kellner wrote in August that Ashcroft's numbers "appear as if they are comparable to normal voting intention results. In fact, they are not" Ashcroft had Reform on 18 back in August and on 19 at the beginning of this month, so even his own numbers betray the Mail's splash about some huge shift, and against firms polling in the same late-October and early-November window he has the highest Tory figure at 26 percent against a range of about 20 to 24, and the lowest Reform figure at 18 against about 20 to 25 An eight-point Conservative lead that no conventional pollster in the same window can find is not a serious like-for-like reading of where the country stands, it is effectively a push-poll designed to boost morale for Tories, and the establishment Mail on Sunday is only too delighted to pretend it does anything other than that Kemi is not storming into the lead in British politics

The establishment polling cartel relies on a single statistical sleight of hand: legacy weighting. Every headline Fleet Street manufactures to comfort nervous Tory donors is built on obsolete past-vote models. The legacy pollsters routinely penalise challenger parties on the patronising assumption that working-class voters will panic and drift back to the status quo, while artificially inflating the two legacy machines. They are polling modern Britain through the prism of a two-party system that died two years ago. When you strip out the establishment distortion and apply realistic turnout weighting to the latest @OpiniumResearch fieldwork via @electionmapsuk, the narrative disintegrates: Labour: 26% (-2) Reform UK: 25% (21% base + 4% turnout adjustment) Conservatives: 18% (-2) Green: 11% Lib Dems: 10% SNP: 3% Reform is not jostling for second place; they are in a statistical dead heat for the national lead, while the Conservatives have collapsed to a catastrophic 18%. The Conservatives can keep buying friendly Sunday headlines off leading questions. The ballot box does not care about an algorithm designed to save legacy party careers.

I'm 52 years old. I have terminal Stage IV esophageal cancer. And my life has become something I never could have imagined. I have metastatic adenocarcinoma with signet-ring features. It's spread to my liver, lymph nodes, stomach and peritoneum. The surgery that was supposed to potentially save my life was aborted when they discovered it had already spread. I've been through chemotherapy. I've had a stent shoved down my esophagus just to help me swallow. I've lived with a feeding tube. I've had to rethink something most people never give a second thought to: eating. A cheeseburger. Pizza. A normal meal with my family. Things that used to be completely ordinary have become things I miss. Every meal is a calculation. Calories. Protein. What can I swallow? What will hurt? What will stay down? How much can my stomach tolerate? I deal with nausea, abdominal pain, strange sensations throughout my torso, swallowing difficulties, and the constant uncertainty of what is happening inside my body. I monitor blood markers. I read CT scans. I research clinical trials. I look at experimental treatments and scientific papers, trying to find something, anything, that might give me more time. And there's a particularly cruel part of terminal cancer that people don't always understand: You can look relatively healthy. You can walk every day. You can laugh, read, have conversations, research things, and make plans. Meanwhile, you know there's an incurable disease growing inside you. You become acutely aware that the future everyone else takes for granted is no longer guaranteed to you. I have a wife. I have children. I have things I still want to experience, conversations I still want to have, and memories I still want to make. I've even started leaving little handwritten messages around the house for my wife to find someday. Things I want her to know when I'm no longer here to tell her. I'm not writing this because I want anyone's pity. I'm writing it because terminal cancer is so much more than a diagnosis or a statistic. It's an entirely different existence. It's fighting for your life while simultaneously trying to figure out how to keep living it. I don't know how much time I have. Neither does anyone else. But I'm still here. Still walking. Still researching. Still looking for treatments. Still trying to eat. Still making plans. And I'm not done fighting. If you're healthy, don't take the ordinary things for granted. You have no idea how extraordinary they are until they become difficult or impossible.

After 30 years in politics, Nigel Farage finally gets to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday. The most patriotic politician Britain has had in years finally gets a spot in paying tribute to our brave servicemen and women. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/11…
