Hey Anthropic. You guys have given me a lot of subsidized compute. In return, I'll give you an example of how to make announcements like this without burning all your good will with developers. "Back in May, we did a one-month promotion where we increased the weekly rate limits for Claude Code by 50%. We've extended this promotion multiple times since, but sadly, it must come to an end on September 14th. We know that this will impact the work of many users. We've run the numbers and found that we are able to make a permanent increase of 25%. This nets out to a 17% decrease from the limits as they are today. We understand this is a big hit for a lot of users. We hate making changes like this. We're doing everything in our power to secure more compute to improve availability of Claude. We do have some good news. When these changes go live on September 14th, we will be removing the separate weekly limit for Fable, so you will now be able to use your full limit with your preferred Claude model."
Starting September 14, we're permanently raising standard weekly limits in Claude Code by 25% for Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise plans. Until then, the current 50% increase will be in place.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
While standard base limits are increasing by 25%, this change represents a net 17% reduction in weekly limits compared to the active 50% promotional limits users currently experience, as confirmed by the official Claude account: x.com/claudedevs/sta…

BITCOINERS: DO NOT SCAN THIS QR CODE The IRS is warning that scammers are mailing fake, official-looking IRS letters to cryptocurrency holders directing them to a bogus “Digital Asset Compliance Portal.” The letters include a QR code leading to a fake IRS website that may ask for personal information, wallet details, exchange credentials or other sensitive data. The IRS says it does not operate a “Digital Asset Compliance Portal” and did not send these letters. Coinbase and DarkTower reportedly traced infrastructure behind the campaign to a recently registered domain hosted in Romania. If you receive one, do not scan the QR code or provide any information. A common mistake when explaining L2s is starting with architecture. Rollups, sequencing, data availability. Technically accurate, but most users don’t arrive with those questions.

Why don’t they just tokenize the oil in the Middle East and transport it across permissionless financial rails, thereby avoiding the Strait of Hormuz altogether

Big update from X today. API replies are being restricted for most developers. If you’re not explicitly @mentioned or on Enterprise, programmatic replies get blocked. AI spam just lost a major distribution channel.

There’s a very obvious deleveraging going on. If you think dropping from $98K to $70K in three weeks is normal, then you need to send me whatever you’re smoking. The recent Bitcoin price action is a second order effect of the PM deleveraging that’s been going on since last Friday. You think Gold and Silver losing $15T in 48 hours would have no effect on Bitcoin? Wrong! Just like 10/10/25, some very large players got WRECKED last week, and Bitcoin is collateral damage. That would explain why SO many key levels are just being absolutely blown through with little to no struggle. $85K? Gone. $80K? Gone. $74K? Gone. The final boss is $69K. If we lose $69K in a meaningful way, I see no reason why $65K or even $60K isn’t on the table in the short term. What I’m hoping for is for this deleveraging event to end or at LEAST slow down so BTC can catch a god damn breather in the coming days / weeks.

What is happening in crypto? Since October 10th, crypto markets are now down -50%, erasing $2.2 TRILLION worth of market cap. Bitcoin has officially erased ALL of its post-election rally, now down -10% since Trump's election. Why is it crashing? Let us explain. (a thread)

Your reps aren't lazy. Your CRM is asking too much. 15 required fields on a deal record. Half of them irrelevant to closing. So they fill in "TBD" and move on. We've found that 5 properties get filled out every time. ONLY the right 5. The other 10? Just noise.

.@avici has: 🇪🇺 + 🇺🇸 named virtual accounts > meaning you can get a bank account number in your own name (IBAN in the EU, so not a pooled acc shared with others). > Native SEPA Instant, ACH, wires, and direct deposit > near-instant EUR transfers + standard US bank transfers + high-value same-day transfers + (payroll) systems that can pay you automatically. Combine all of the above and $AVICI can now handle: - Monthly salaries - Contractor payments - Startup treasury (in + out) flows - Recurring business revenue $AVICI is becoming an alternative to normal bank accounts, and soon it might be a better one.
We introduced Named virtual accounts to make Avici a real alternative to a normal bank account for the internet age. Self custody. Fiat compatible. Global on @solana Here’s why this matters and how it works ↓
