I’m too mentally cooked to do real work rn, so here’s the story of how I accidentally beat a hidden Airbnb resort fee using AI.
Host hits me with “you owe an extra $700” for a fee that somehow wasn’t in the final checkout total.
I almost paid it like a civilian.
Then I opened my custom legal GPT.
Customer support showed up with friendly templates.
I pulled up with F-117 stealth bombers, Tomahawk cruise missiles, M1A1 Abrams tanks, and night vision goggles for every angle of the Terms and Conditions.
For three days straight I was essentially the Terms and Conditions version of a precision-guided strike.
Copy, paste, send.
Copy, paste, send.
Support kept escalating.
My GPT stayed the course with confirmation bias.
And then… the final message drops:
“Please do not worry… you do not have to pay anything… this case is now resolved.”
