Was hoping my new found X friends would help me push my sweet, brave grandson Jax’s story out until it reaches maybe Elon, Trump, Melania, RFK or someone in the new admin that can reach out and talk to us about Jax’s story and the need for more childhood cancer awareness. It comes in September but hardly gets a nod and less than 5% of all cancer research goes to children like Jax who suffer from some form of cancer.
We discovered Jax had a neuroblastoma at age 2 1/2 that filled his chest and wrapped his spine. His journey has not been easy but he is full of a can do, will do spirit and fights everyday.
Cancer has stolen many things from Jax, including his ability to communicate but it has not been able to steal his joyous spirit.
I apologize for the selfish request ahead of time but Jax and all the families we have met in the past 4 years deserve so much more than endless red tape and left over funds for research.
