As someone who practices martial arts, I understand the need to defend yourself when threatened or attacked. The woke left assassinated Charlie Kirk. They “allegedly” murdered Anne Widdecombe. They tried to assassinate Trump. They’re signalling their intent to have Musk lined up against a wall. They violently assault Turning Point and Young Bob whenever they try to have a conversation. They’re flooding our nations with third-world aliens to out vote us, attack us, and replace us. They politically persecuted Danny Tommo, Tommy Robinson, Lucy Connolly, Southport protestors, and many others. They want to arrest anyone who flies an England flag or protests against the small boat invasion. They’re going to use impeachment, law fare, smears, violence, censorship, demonetisation, boycotts, cancellation, sanctions intimidation, and every other dirty, underhanded tactic they can think of. We’re being subjected to relentless threats and attacks, all day, every single day. For the love of all things holy, when, when are we going to stop being a punching bag for the woke Marxist left, stand up and start punching back?

Russell Brand was a columnist for the ultra-woke publication The Guardian. He also spoke in some capacity for Turning Point, which is a right wing conservative platform. Here's the difference. When Brand was embraced by the left and fawned over by people like Owen Jones and George Monbiot, it was at a time when he was known and celebrated for being a womaniser and a sex pest. He was crowned "shagger of the year" three years in a row, he went on a radio show and mocked a national treasure by bragging about having sex with his granddaughter, and was invited onto flagship shows on the BBC to giggle and titter about his promiscuous ways. He was also gushed over by the left for being a junkie. In other words, the left loved him when he represented degeneracy. But then he disappeared from the limelight for a few years, left his addictions behind him and got more disciplined, discovering Christianity and practicing martial arts. That's when the right started to listen to what he had to say. In other words, the right gave him the time of day when he was apparently a reformed character who cleaned up his act. In my personal opinion, he was never really either of these two things. He was never funny as a comedian, he was never a good performer as an actor, he was just a charismatic, glorified TV presenter, a grifter who played up to certain caricatures in order to make a generous living from whatever idiot corporation was willing to pay him a fat salary. But regardless of who he hoodwinked, you can't escape the fact that the Russell Brand saga makes a good analogy for the left/right divide. The left couldn’t get enough of him when he was a promiscuous, drug-addled dickhead, whilst the right only became interested when he appeared to have grown up, kicked his addictions and discovered a bit of morality, which tells us a lot about the values of the modern left and the modern right, and the sort of people each side considers worthy of admiration.
