🚨 COLORADO! VOTE NO ON 87 🚨 Why is Amendment 87 bad for Colorado? It would trade modest tax cuts for most taxpayers for a much larger tax increase on higher-income individuals and businesses, remove the constitutional flat-tax requirement, and create tax brackets that do not adjust for inflation. Those are real policy changes. Who would suffer the most? Restaurants. Bars. Waitpersons. Kitchen staff. All the regular people who work. Rich people will be just fine, because they can afford to be. 1. It raises taxes substantially on some employers and business owners Amendment 87 would replace Colorado’s 4.4% flat income tax with six brackets beginning in 2027. Higher marginal rates would apply to taxable income above $500,000, reaching 8.4% on the portion above $1 million. These brackets apply to both individual and corporate taxpayers. That matters beyond wealthy people’s salaries. For businesses organized as partnerships or S corporations, profits generally flow through to owners’ personal tax returns—even when some of that money stays in the business. For owners affected by the higher brackets, opponents argue that a bigger tax bill could leave less available for hiring, equipment, expansion, or reserves. The threshold concerns taxable income, however, not gross sales. 2. Inflation would push more income into higher brackets One of the clearest design criticisms is inflation: the proposed brackets are not indexed to it. As nominal wages and business profits rise, more income could enter higher brackets even without a corresponding increase in purchasing power. The Blue Book explicitly identifies this effect. That does not mean ordinary-income households would immediately face the top rates. It means the fixed thresholds would become less protective over time unless the law changes. 3. It removes a constitutional taxpayer protection Colorado’s constitution currently requires income to be taxed at a single rate. Amendment 87 would remove that requirement and replace the current system with graduated rates. For voters who value an equal-rate, predictable income tax, that is a fundamental change—not merely an adjustment to this year’s tax bill. It would also exempt the additional revenue generated by the measure from TABOR’s revenue limit, allowing the state to retain and spend that money rather than subject it to the existing limit. The official estimate is approximately $1.972 billion in additional revenue in fiscal year 2027–28. The $2.7 billion figure on the ballot is the estimated maximum first-full-year increase required for ballot disclosure, rather than the central revenue forecast. 4. The tax increase is specific, but spending decisions remain broad The additional revenue must support K–12 education, health care, and early childhood care and education. But legislators would decide which specific programs receive funding and how much. The amendment does not establish a fixed allocation to classrooms or a particular educational outcome. The defensible criticism is that voters are approving a substantial, ongoing revenue increase while leaving important allocation choices to future legislatures. Calling it a completely unrestricted “blank check,” however, goes too far: the measure restricts eligible uses, requires the money to supplement rather than replace existing spending, and requires an audited annual report. 5. It could make Colorado less attractive for some investment Opponents argue that higher marginal tax rates would make Colorado less competitive for business formation, expansion, and higher-income residents. Gov. Jared Polis and business leaders have raised that concern. The possible consequence is broader than the taxpayers directly affected: if an employer delays hiring or expands elsewhere, workers and suppliers could feel it. The size of that effect—and whether it outweighs the benefits of additional public spending—is uncertain.

Footage immediately after the mob violently attacked me at Denver's student walkout yesterday. I was chased from the east side of the park to the SW corner of the park. While backing into the crosswalk a group of teenagers attacked me at the direction of many of the adults seen in this video. I was taken to the ground and while in fetal position was attacked from multiple directions. My GoPro with footage of the attack was stolen and my microphone was damaged. If you have footage of my attack please contact me.

In light of tomorrow's ICE OUT school walk out protests happening across Colorado & possibly the country, I'll just leave this here for everyone to read over. Kids being used as political props to push an agenda is exactly what radical extremists do. History has shown us this.

Adopted person here.🙋🏼‍♀️ I was an unwanted pregnancy. My big brother was, too. We did not deserve to die. Our adoptive family wanted us more than anything and gave us the best life. I don't understand why condemning adoption in support of abortion is a talking point.
Imagine looking at millions of adopted people and concluding they'd be better off dead.

Denver Communists, a violent Antifa group that has incited violence against me and others, sent its Trantifa comrades to target Drip Café for being run by Christians connected to an outreach ministry. Denver has many far-left extremists empowered to intimidate and attack others due to Democrats being in full power.

Thank you Erin, for leading 3000+ volunteers for historic grassroots ballot measures in Colorado. Protect kids from “gender” surgery and Save Girls’ Sports may go to voters this fall. In a blue state. Now a fight with Sec of State. Thank you to supporters of our 10-day campaign in December!!! The campaign to push us higher into the safety zone would NOT have happened or been successful without @ConceptualJames, who, wait for it… was right. I hope the numbers are enough—they should be—we will know in a few weeks. @Erin4Parents has sacrificed for 2+ years and led boldly. @HiKidHey is a secret, and not-so-secret, weapon. @IsaiahLCarter @NinoChavezX @ApostateRadioNY my brothers @EithanDHaimMD @Sexisrealpsych @ColoradoDoctors my colleagues @SuperOfMyHome @ColoradoGirl73 @Thedukeisking @ForestMommy @corTheory @UnmitigatedAss @JenniferSey @xx_xyathletics @CarlottaPini @WaynesWordPod @ericmetaxas @lancewallnau @MissyMurdrem2 @CopyWhoTV @JenSchumann1776 @SenKirkmeyer @ScottBottomsCO @SarahGeving1 @victormarx @orcaspeaks @HopeSchepp @Eamon_USA @ErinFriday75490 @luce_lexi @FocoGrohs24 @greigmveeder @LoriGim @jeffcleghornga @SummerYuleRDN @Dierenbach @LisaintheMtns @Rebeccaandgus @CPANColorado Many more—some who I think are anonymous or I’d recognize them.

For the safety of our volunteers, we have stopped gathering signatures at the grocery store in Fort Collins. Grandmothers peacefully standing up for kids incited more threats, insanity & police visits than I’m comfortable subjecting our wonderful volunteers to. I’m getting so many death threats from the psychos in Fort Collins Reddit threads. We must be close to over the target.🎯

I’m so happy to see this day—the first historically mainstream US medical professional society advising no “gender” surgery in kids. I’m struck that, yes, this nightmare really WILL end. For everybody except the parents and patients. Some scars are lifelong.
The time is coming when the proponents of this nonsense will have to admit there was never any evidence to support it.

KIDS in @JeffcoSchoolsCo ENCOURAGED TO TRACK ICE: I am told these slides were presented to students as young as 14 at Jefferson County Open School today (during a required Governance class). This is not an appropriate use of classrooms and encouraging kids to track or intervene on law enforcement is clearly dangerous. The “How to Report Ice” posters are hanging in the school.

Shocker! The mayor of my city... Same woman who forced a child mutilation crosswalk down our throats with our tax dollars. — And had her fetish partner in his dog mask follow her around on a leash & howl for the crosswalk ribbon cutting. No, I’m not kidding. Watch 👀 Everyone just acts like this is all normal here. It’s like entering the twilight zone.
Fort Collins, Colorado Mayor Emily Francis organized a run with her constituents with a route to spell out “stop ICE” So stunning and brave. I’m sure this will do the trick! Elected Democrat officials want to protect illegal alien r*pists and m*rderers.
