😂😂 You too? Here’s just a few of the racist attacks I’ve gotten from Angel Reese fans over the last week……. There’s A LOT more where that came from. It’s funny because the WNBA media refuse to talk about this & then people like Elle Duncan gaslight by saying Caitlin Clark fans are racist/toxic. “Confuse the public by accusing others of what you are guilty of” 🤫
Totally normal reactions to a basketball opinion

Welp, time for an Andrew rant because I’m incensed by this finals situation. To be clear, I have no sourcing on this, and these are my opinions on a situation of two teams(GS,ATL) that I don’t cover. So let’s get this all out in one spot, the WNBA are choosing to play a game at 12:30PM(9:30AM pacific) so that they can sell 14,000 more tickets at State Farm arena… then in almost every press release mention they “had to” because the Hawks play the second game of a back to back… To be clear -The Dream have their own arena, which according to the arena schedule had nothing going on Thursday evening. -The NBA schedule and WNBA playoff schedule have been out for months and this could have been figured out in September. -This isn’t a Hawks problem to solve, they don’t share venues or owners. Because of this the game will be on USA, SyFy, and E competing with day-time soap operas. The League is choosing to have a close out game 6 for the first championship in Valkyries history to be played at 9:30AM for their fans, and to have Angel Reese defend the Dream home court at 12:30PM… To pull the curtain back all the TV contracts for playoffs are already set in stone, the league technically doesn’t make any extra money based off the ratings, so financially, the league isn’t going to be hurt by this decision. In fact they are likely going to make 250,00 extra bucks from ticket sales for the extra 14,000 seats. The primary owner of the Atlanta Dream has an estimated net worth of 8 billion dollars. ———— For the Valkyries fans, and the Dream fans, and all WNBA fans… they get to use a sick day or their PTO to watch the game in person, or sneak it on their lunch break, play it back on replay, or just miss the game. The bars get to lose the revenue from a hometown team being in the finals. The reporters get to be rushed out of an arena post game and likely lose a ton of access The Valkeryies players get to celebrate on a practice court if they win the championship All for what, 250,000k…. It’s literally insulting to all the players, fans, reporters, team employees, and people that pour so much time and effort into growing a game for a league and a team to value 250k in ticket rev over offering a prime time game and growing the game.

There is literally nothing that is ever anyone in the WNBA’s fault, it’s actually incredible
Dream ownership on arena situation in open letter to Atlanta: "Two months ago, when the WNBA finalized playoff dates and times, we raised concerns that the W Finals schedule conflicted with NBA games at State Farm Arena ... Our concerns did not receive the attention, nor the urgency that they deserved."

The only reason Caitlin Clark - Angel Reese got turned into a race war , was because of the people who jumped on the Angel Reese bandwagon because of the controversy in the NCAA championship game. 👇 Not Caitlin Clark fans. 🤷‍♂️ This keeps getting proven right time and time and time and time and time again like clockwork 🕐
So are we going to have a talk on who the real toxic fanbase is yet…?

Considering finding an elite AD and a GM that both understand how to succeed in the NIL era is absolutely critical to any long term success, more than who the coach is, the “wahhhhh why isn’t it happening nowwwww” crowd will just have to deal with it
FSU president Richard McCullough writes letter to athletics community, addressing fan frustration. He says the university is “methodically working on a plan” to position athletics for success moving forward. Search for an AD will start soon. No mention of Mike Norvell

I saw someone say start playing the national anthem and everyone will clear the court! 😂😂😂😂
Ramona Shelburne on what could happen if the WNBA title is won on Thursday: "That celebration may not actually be on that court. I've heard there are discussions about whether there's enough time to turn the arena over in time for the fans to celebrate on the court. It could be moved to a practice court" Unreal man smh

Lions, Bears, and Vikings fans fundamentally hate each other. But we ALL have at least 5 games in our lives where the Packers got some really friendly whistles from the 🦓s
Bears and Lions fans uniting for a day to laugh at the Packers crying about officiating

The WNBA Finals being broadcast on the science fiction channel absolutely tracks 😂
The WNBA decision to move game 6 of the finals to 12:30 PM Thursday will have an impact on its media coverage. USA Sports says that the game will not simulcast on CNBC, as its other games are (it will be during market hours). Instead it will simulcast on E! and Syfy.

No, an NBA team didn’t consider cutting their capacity from 17,000 to 3,500 for a game and screwing over thousands of season ticket holders. What are we doing here? Has everyone lost their minds?
Obviously this situation with Game 6 isn't really great for anyone involved. I wonder if they considered playing the Hawks game at Gateway Arena that night. Could have been a huge PR win for them, figure out a way to get some of the money from the Dream game back to them.

Refs have been ruining seasons for years, often to the benefit of the Packers, and it was always labeled “excuses” or “sour grapes” But now that the Packers are getting a taste of what most of the rest of the league has been getting, suddenly it’s a media worthy crisis
In my 19 years covering the Packers on a daily basis, I've never written a blame-the-refs story. Yeah, I get it, the Packers beat themselves, too, but what happened at Ford Field was unaccepable, an embarrassment and, to quote Xavier McKinney, bullshit. ⬇️ si.com/nfl/packers/onsi/xavi…

Just fyi, Caleb Williams played his entire first two seasons in the NFL as the starter without a roughing the passer call, including his rookie season where his O-line was so bad that he took 111 QB hits and 68 sacks.

I love how these Packers fans are forgetting what they told us in the past in situations like this
A loss is one thing. You lose because the other team was better. But the officials were HUGELY influential in the game with a slew of obviously bad calls leading to Lions points. That’s annoying.

The Lions were definitely the beneficiaries of some questionable calls today. But after a lifetime of watching it go the other way, especially against Green Bay, I make zero apologies. Big win!
