🚨Zinedine Zidane reacting to Jude Bellingham (50) surpassing his Real Madrid goal tally (49):
🗣️ “I’m genuinely stunned by what Jude has done. Surpassing my goal tally at Real Madrid is no small thing – it takes years for most players to even get close. At his age, the mentality is frightening. The hunger, the versatility, the way he steps up in the biggest moments with complete confidence… he’s already changed games in ways that take most careers a decade to master.
People will always try to measure him against the past, but football moves forward. We should celebrate this, not protect old legacies. If he stays on this path, Jude has the quality to go beyond some of the greatest players this club has ever seen.
And I’ll say it clearly: Bellingham can become greater than I was. That’s not disrespect to what we achieved – it’s respect for what he’s capable of.”

Ian wrights admits to Carragher that it’s a clear penalty on Isak.
Wrights🗣️: I won’t be nice about this because it’s my club, this incident is a penalty all day long.
Carragher🗣️: I don’t get the reason behind the VAR decision on this, it’s so obvious to me, very clear and does not need any check up.
Wrights🗣️: I think they wanted Isak to throw himself like a piece of rag to the floor before they consider that as a penalty.
Carragher🗣️: If surely that’s what they wanted then games gone, we’re so shit if we pretend like it doesn’t hurt.
Wrights🗣️: We might be lucky enough since we get away with this because that’s very obvious.
Carragher🗣️: you said lucky? they’re cheats and never wanted Liverpool progress in the league, very disgraceful match officials btw.”

🚨🎙️ Racing Santander manager on the Negreira case and refusal to shake José Mourinho’s hand.
“I won’t pretend that everything that happened in that game against Real Madrid was clean officiating because, honestly, it wasn’t.
We’ve played against several La Liga teams, including Barcelona, but whenever we play against Real Madrid, it always seems to be a completely different story.
“We complain about refereeing decisions, we raise concerns, and we ask for explanations, but it feels like La Liga isn’t interested in looking into these things. I don’t think that’s right. Every club deserves the same treatment.
🎙️Reporter: Are you suggesting referees favour Real Madrid more than other teams?
🗣️Alberto Lopez: Absolutely. Why can’t the same rules apply to everybody? Why should Real Madrid be treated differently? They were given far too many cheap decisions, and those decisions cost us enormously.
Starting with that Mbappé penalty and several other incidents. Tchouaméni even had his hand stopping the direction of the ball inside his own penalty area, and somehow VAR didn’t think it was worth looking into. What exactly are we supposed to do with that?
I’m genuinely angry because these things keep happening, and nobody wants to address them.
When Mourinho came over to speak to me, I made sure I told him exactly how I felt. You cannot spend every waking hour complaining about other clubs on Real Madrid TV, constantly bringing up Negreira and questioning everybody else’s integrity, while your own team appears to benefit from so many questionable decisions. At some point, you have to look at what’s happening on your own doorstep.
🎙️Reporter: Since you mentioned Negreira, do you believe Barcelona are guilty, as Real Madrid have repeatedly suggested?
🗣️Alberto Lopez: That’s not for me to decide. I’m not here to defend Barcelona or accuse anybody. But I honestly think Real Madrid bring up that conversation far too often to make Barcelona look bad in the eyes of everyone while distracting people from their own controversies and behaviour.
Because, seriously, in what world are we supposed to believe that a Barcelona team with Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Xavi and Sergio Busquets needed to pay somebody to win football matches?
It makes absolutely no sense to me. These were extraordinary footballers who dominated games because of their quality.
And let’s not forget, they had José Mourinho as their manager during that period. (laughs) I just think people need to stop treating certain clubs as if they’re above criticism.
Football should have one set of rules, not different rules depending on the badge on your shirt.”

The difference between Mikel Arteta and many other Premier League managers is that he approaches every game with a level of tactical discipline and preparation that is difficult to overlook.
He understands that every opponent presents a different challenge, and he is always willing to adjust his approach to find solutions. Yesterday's victory over Liverpool was another demonstration of that tactical awareness.
With all due respect to managers like Andoni Iraola, Xabi Alonso and Enzo Maresca, I genuinely believe Arteta is setting a standard that they should be looking to learn from.
He is building more than just a team capable of winning football matches. He is building a side that understands how to adapt, compete and win under different circumstances. That is what separates elite managers from the rest.
🚨 New England manager Marko Mitrović on Lionel Messi’s late winning goal for Inter Miami:
🗣️“At the touchline, I honestly felt numb. You feel powerless in moments like that because you know exactly what Messi is capable of, but when he reaches that level in a game, there is very little you can do to stop him.
I was watching him and thinking about his age. At 39, how does he still do these things? I genuinely believed we were going to leave with a win, but Messi had other plans.
When he first received the ball, I saw four of my players around him. I thought to myself, ‘There is no way he can get out of this situation.’ My players were closing him down, trying everything to win the ball back. At that moment, I was already preparing myself for a draw.
Then, in a matter of seconds, he beats two of my defenders, plays a one-two with his teammate, and suddenly, he is celebrating. It happened so quickly.
As a manager, your first reaction is to question your players and look at what you could have done differently. But when I watched the replay, I understood what had happened.
Of course, we could have defended better, and we will analyse that. But sometimes, you have to acknowledge the quality of the player you are facing.
Messi has been doing this for years. He can make a situation that looks completely impossible for him become a goal in a matter of seconds. That’s what makes him special.
We were so close to getting a result, but that’s football. When you have a player like Messi on the pitch, the game is never over.”

🚨NEW: Paul Merson praised the Gunners centre-back duo for keeping Liverpool to zero shots on target.
Speaking about the match, Paul Merson said:
🗣️🎙️“It's either they kill the two to get shot on target against Arsenal. Arsenal rivals should find another solution on how deal with this backline because it's going to be a nightmare to score Arsenal.”
“Arsenal has one slogan you score first against them then they attack you with 12 men plus Mikel Arteta or they score first and they defend with 12 men plus Mikel Arteta.”
“l love this mentality, this define the champion, they do things on their own ways, against Nottingham forest Arsenal forward couldn't score but Gabriel and Konsa were there to score and immediately they dropped at the backline.
Don't hate Arsenal, gave them credit.”
Gooners, is there a better centre-back partnership in football right now?

Somebody take me back to the days,
Before we became this dominant!
Before we became champions!
Before anyone listened to what we've got to say
Back in the days when Mikel came with them speakers in N5
And played that Anfield crowd noise in training so high
Just to psych and prepare them boys how to play
Away at Anfield, a dreaded and terrified place
Any y'all laughed at Mikel's ways
But nowadays we playing to stay champions
Going to Anfield and raking out those 3 points!
And them JBL speakers finally paid off!

“On a serious note, I don’t see Arsenal beating Liverpool today.”
On a serious note, I don’t see Arsenal beating Liverpool today. Their squad is stretched thin, especially with the injuries to their mid players. Liverpool, on the other hand, have a complete squad, home advantage at Anfield, and Arsenal haven’t won there in a long time.
I think we’re in for a demolition.
Liverpool 3-0 Arsenal. End.
