🗣️“You said because I didn’t dive to the ground? How about Cody Gakpo incident in the box with Tzolis, what does he need to do again there.”
“We were playing against Arsenal together with the match officials which is difficult to win against someone who decides a game by his decisions, that’s terrible and we have to accept that because they never wanted us to win.”

🚨🎙️ Marc Cucurella on the difference between playing in La Liga and the Premier League.
🎙️Reporter: You’ve played in both La Liga and the Premier League. Which of the two would you say is more difficult to play in?
🗣️Marc Cucurella: Honestly, having experienced both, I think I’m in a better position to talk about this. I won’t sit here and say English football isn’t tough because it really is. You have to be physically strong, and playing in England has taught me a lot as a defender. The intensity is something you don’t find in many leagues. Every game is a battle until the final whistle. You don’t get time to switch off.
But I think people sometimes look at La Liga and assume it’s not competitive enough, and I completely disagree with that.
Let’s look at my own career. I started in Spain, but I couldn’t establish myself at the level I wanted until I moved to England and started making a name for myself. That should tell you something about the difference between these two leagues.
You can be as strong as the Hulk, as powerful as Thanos, but if you don’t have football intelligence, you’ll struggle in La Liga. It’s a completely different challenge. The players you face are so technical, flexible and intelligent.
They’ll take you on, change direction and make you look silly if you aren’t clever enough to read the game. (laughs)
That’s why intelligence matters so much in Spanish football. It’s not always about who is stronger or who can run faster. Sometimes, it’s about understanding the game two seconds before your opponent does.
I enjoyed my time in the Premier League, and I have nothing but respect for English football. But there’s a reason why players who make their names in England still dream about playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona. It’s not because England doesn’t have big clubs. It’s because of what Spanish football represents to the world and the history behind those clubs.
And if you’re asking me which league plays the best football, I’ll definitely say La Liga. I think Spanish football has a different understanding of the game. There’s more emphasis on technique, intelligence, movement and controlling situations rather than simply relying on physical power.
That’s just my opinion, having experienced both.”

💔😭🚨𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Nana Kwaku Bonsam, the Ghanaian spiritualist (who cursed Harry Kane at the World Cup), has now predicted that Manchester United will be relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
🗣️Kwaku: “Manchester United will be relegated this season. I have seen it. They’ll go into the final weekend believing they can still stay up but it will be too late”
“The Glazers will sell the club after relegation, but Michael Carrick will not be sacked. The new owners will ask him to bring United straight back up.”
“Bruno Fernandes will not sign a new contract. United will ask him to stay on as captain and help bring them back up, but he’ll tell them he wants to leave. When they refuse to sell him, he’ll hand in a transfer request and force his way out of the club. Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martínez will also leave the club.”

🚨 Casemiro on how Messi changed his perspective on football:
🗣️“Honestly, during my time at Manchester United, I was losing my passion for football. There were moments when I even thought about quitting.
Then, when I heard Inter Miami were interested in signing me, I asked my agent, ‘Isn’t that where Messi plays?’ He told me yes, and I didn’t think twice. I wanted to go there and experience it for myself.
Since I arrived here and started playing with Messi, I haven’t even thought about quitting again.
You watch him play, you see the things he does, and sometimes you just ask yourself, ‘How is this possible?’
He makes everything look so easy. Even at his age, he can produce performances that make you forget how long he’s been playing.
Sometimes I think about my younger days, even my prime years, and wonder what it would have been like to play alongside him back then.
But I’m happy I have this opportunity now. Playing with him has given me a different perspective on football.
When you see a player like Messi doing these things every day, it reminds you why you fell in love with the game in the first place.
Honestly, being here has made me reconsider everything. I’m enjoying football again, and that’s the most important thing.”

🚨🎙️ Jude Bellingham on his heated altercation with Kylian Mbappé in the tunnel after Real Madrid’s win over Racing Santander.
“Honestly, when I saw Mbappé coming towards me, he had this big smile on his face. He was happy about the win and clearly wanted to share something with me. But I wasn’t expecting the conversation to go the way it did. Some of the things he said really didn’t sit well with me.
Reporter: What did he actually say?
Jude Bellingham: He came over and said, ‘Mate, just look at that Diomande. The boy has been unbelievable since coming into the team on the right wing. He attracts two or three defenders, knows when to release the ball and even does his defensive work. Can’t you see how much better we’re looking as a team since he’s been getting into the starting XI?’
And I’m listening to him, but in my head, I’m already wondering where he’s going with this. So I looked at him and said, ‘Wait, are you trying to tell me Vinícius is the problem?’
He immediately said, ‘No, that’s not what I’m saying. I’m just telling you things have been different with Diomande. The boy has been doing really well.’
And that’s when I got upset. I told him, ‘Listen, you don’t need to make Vini look bad to praise another player. Don’t come to me with that. Vini has carried this team for a long time. We all know what he’s capable of, and just because he’s having a difficult period doesn’t mean you can suddenly start making him the problem.’
He then said, ‘But nobody should be bigger than the team. It doesn’t matter if it’s Vinícius or anybody else. We have to do what’s best for the team.’
I said, ‘And I agree with you, but have you even looked at yourself before pointing fingers at other people?
Vini wasn’t playing like this before you arrived.
Now you want me to believe he’s the reason we’re struggling?
We’ve won so many trophies with this guy, and since you came here, things haven’t exactly gone the way we expected. Yet nobody has blamed you for anything. But you’re comfortable suggesting another teammate is the problem?’
Honestly, that’s where the conversation became heated. I wasn’t going to stand there and allow him to talk about Vini like that.
Diomande is a fantastic player, and I’m happy he’s doing well. But there’s a difference between praising a teammate and making another teammate look responsible for everything that’s going wrong.
Vini needs our support right now, not another person putting pressure on him.
We’re supposed to be teammates. If we can’t stand together when one of us is struggling, then what exactly are we building here? Unity is what every successful team needs.”

🚨NEW: Jamie Carragher didn’t hold back in calling out Alexis Mac Allister for his embarrassing play-acting against Arsenal yesterday.
When asked about the incident Carragher said:
🗣️🎙️"I want Liverpool to win the game, but I'm delighted he [Madueke] didn't get sent off. We have really got to be calling people out and saying 'this is embarrassing”.
"It's ridiculous and it's got to stop. I can't stand it. If someone puts their head back and butts, then red card. But if it's head-to-head and they touch, the other one goes down and the player gets sent off, as a game, call your own people out on it.
"It's a joke from Mac Allister and it's got to stop. People are trying to gain an advantage because they can and red cards are being given for it. Whether it's Howard Webb, the Premier League, the managers getting together, this has got to stop."
🚨 Steven Gerrard on Jurrien Timber getting away with multiple card-worthy tackles against Liverpool:
🗣️“A few days have passed since that game, but one thing I still can’t get my head around is how Timber managed to finish that match without a red card.
I honestly believe he was lucky to stay on the pitch. Aside from pulling Isak inside the box, there were countless other challenges he made throughout the game that should have resulted in bookings. He was involved in more than five card-worthy incidents, yet somehow managed to escape with just one yellow card. At some point, you have to question the officiating.
In my playing days, tackles like that would have earned you applause from the crowd. That’s how football used to be. But the rules have changed considerably since then, and you have to adapt to the way the game is officiated today. In today’s game, some of those challenges would almost certainly have resulted in a red card.
In my opinion, the referee was far too favourable towards Arsenal that day. The only card Timber received was for his confrontation with Mac Allister, despite the shirt pull on Isak and the reckless challenge that nearly injured Kerkez.
I understand that football is a physical game, but there has to be consistency. You cannot allow a player to make that many questionable challenges and still walk off the pitch without facing serious consequences.”

🚨Zinedine Zidane reacting to Jude Bellingham (50) surpassing his Real Madrid goal tally (49):
🗣️ “I’m genuinely stunned by what Jude has done. Surpassing my goal tally at Real Madrid is no small thing – it takes years for most players to even get close. At his age, the mentality is frightening. The hunger, the versatility, the way he steps up in the biggest moments with complete confidence… he’s already changed games in ways that take most careers a decade to master.
People will always try to measure him against the past, but football moves forward. We should celebrate this, not protect old legacies. If he stays on this path, Jude has the quality to go beyond some of the greatest players this club has ever seen.
And I’ll say it clearly: Bellingham can become greater than I was. That’s not disrespect to what we achieved – it’s respect for what he’s capable of.”

Ian wrights admits to Carragher that it’s a clear penalty on Isak.
Wrights🗣️: I won’t be nice about this because it’s my club, this incident is a penalty all day long.
Carragher🗣️: I don’t get the reason behind the VAR decision on this, it’s so obvious to me, very clear and does not need any check up.
Wrights🗣️: I think they wanted Isak to throw himself like a piece of rag to the floor before they consider that as a penalty.
Carragher🗣️: If surely that’s what they wanted then games gone, we’re so shit if we pretend like it doesn’t hurt.
Wrights🗣️: We might be lucky enough since we get away with this because that’s very obvious.
Carragher🗣️: you said lucky? they’re cheats and never wanted Liverpool progress in the league, very disgraceful match officials btw.”

🚨🎙️ Racing Santander manager on the Negreira case and refusal to shake José Mourinho’s hand.
“I won’t pretend that everything that happened in that game against Real Madrid was clean officiating because, honestly, it wasn’t.
We’ve played against several La Liga teams, including Barcelona, but whenever we play against Real Madrid, it always seems to be a completely different story.
“We complain about refereeing decisions, we raise concerns, and we ask for explanations, but it feels like La Liga isn’t interested in looking into these things. I don’t think that’s right. Every club deserves the same treatment.
🎙️Reporter: Are you suggesting referees favour Real Madrid more than other teams?
🗣️Alberto Lopez: Absolutely. Why can’t the same rules apply to everybody? Why should Real Madrid be treated differently? They were given far too many cheap decisions, and those decisions cost us enormously.
Starting with that Mbappé penalty and several other incidents. Tchouaméni even had his hand stopping the direction of the ball inside his own penalty area, and somehow VAR didn’t think it was worth looking into. What exactly are we supposed to do with that?
I’m genuinely angry because these things keep happening, and nobody wants to address them.
When Mourinho came over to speak to me, I made sure I told him exactly how I felt. You cannot spend every waking hour complaining about other clubs on Real Madrid TV, constantly bringing up Negreira and questioning everybody else’s integrity, while your own team appears to benefit from so many questionable decisions. At some point, you have to look at what’s happening on your own doorstep.
🎙️Reporter: Since you mentioned Negreira, do you believe Barcelona are guilty, as Real Madrid have repeatedly suggested?
🗣️Alberto Lopez: That’s not for me to decide. I’m not here to defend Barcelona or accuse anybody. But I honestly think Real Madrid bring up that conversation far too often to make Barcelona look bad in the eyes of everyone while distracting people from their own controversies and behaviour.
Because, seriously, in what world are we supposed to believe that a Barcelona team with Lionel Messi, Andrés Iniesta, Xavi and Sergio Busquets needed to pay somebody to win football matches?
It makes absolutely no sense to me. These were extraordinary footballers who dominated games because of their quality.
And let’s not forget, they had José Mourinho as their manager during that period. (laughs) I just think people need to stop treating certain clubs as if they’re above criticism.
Football should have one set of rules, not different rules depending on the badge on your shirt.”
