🚨NEW: Jamie Carragher didn’t hold back in calling out Alexis Mac Allister for his embarrassing play-acting against Arsenal yesterday. When asked about the incident Carragher said: 🗣️🎙️"I want Liverpool to win the game, but I'm delighted he [Madueke] didn't get sent off. We have really got to be calling people out and saying 'this is embarrassing”. "It's ridiculous and it's got to stop. I can't stand it. If someone puts their head back and butts, then red card. But if it's head-to-head and they touch, the other one goes down and the player gets sent off, as a game, call your own people out on it. "It's a joke from Mac Allister and it's got to stop. People are trying to gain an advantage because they can and red cards are being given for it. Whether it's Howard Webb, the Premier League, the managers getting together, this has got to stop."

🚨NEW: Paul Merson praised the Gunners centre-back duo for keeping Liverpool to zero shots on target. Speaking about the match, Paul Merson said: 🗣️🎙️“It's either they kill the two to get shot on target against Arsenal. Arsenal rivals should find another solution on how deal with this backline because it's going to be a nightmare to score Arsenal.” “Arsenal has one slogan you score first against them then they attack you with 12 men plus Mikel Arteta or they score first and they defend with 12 men plus Mikel Arteta.” “l love this mentality, this define the champion, they do things on their own ways, against Nottingham forest Arsenal forward couldn't score but Gabriel and Konsa were there to score and immediately they dropped at the backline. Don't hate Arsenal, gave them credit.” Gooners, is there a better centre-back partnership in football right now?
