Hi y’all. I’m sorry to ask again. Rent is due November 3rd, and I’m still trying to get through until my approved disability payments begin.
I’ve got some toward rent, but I need help. If you can give even a little or share, please do. Thanks. 🙏🐻

I literally want to vomit reading this. The abuse, the cover-up, as well as the insane amount of money one single archdiocese has at its disposal, the money that should go towards something true, good and beautiful...
Shame on every single bishop in the world who covered up every single instance of abuse! They will answer to God for every time they silently allowed monstrous wolves among their sheep! They will answer to God for every soul that was deeply scarred through disgusting acts of abuse! They will answer to God for every penny the sheep have donated that should have gone towards building up the Church and charities but was instead used to pay for their silence and cowardice!
It is not justice when others involuntarily pay for your sins. Which Catholic faithful wants their donations used in this way? I believe the victims should be compensated but oh how easy it is to compensate using the money of the faithful.
The actors involved should compensate the victims with their own money, their own property, their own work, whatever they possess. Maybe then they would think twice before giving the abusers second, third or fourth chances...
So sick of all of this. Lord have mercy 🙏
The New York Archdiocese just agreed to an $800 million settlement with around 1,300 abuse survivors. It’s the second-largest one in the country after L.A. Everyone’s signed off, and they’re supposed to finalize it in early November. Survivors can either take a flat minimum amount or go through a review for more, and the archdiocese has to release the names of the accused priests plus related documents without having to file for bankruptcy.
I'm sorry. I hate to keep bugging y’all, but I really need to get some more eyes on this. My rent is due in five days, and I still need help getting it together.
Could you please repost this and keep me in your prayers? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks. 🙏

LATEST: Cardinal Vesco says the Catholic Church is “not there to convert”
The Archbishop of Algiers said: “We are the Church of this people. Not a proselytising Church, not a Church that is there to convert, but a Church that aspires to be one of the components of this people.”
He called proselytism “poison” because it treats another person’s religion as false, and argued Christians should choose fraternity over seeing themselves as a “besieged fortress.”

Cardinal Vesco says Catholic Church is ‘not there to convert’ in interview on evangelisation
Cardinal Jean-Paul Vesco has said the Church is “not there to convert”, arguing that proselytism is “poison” and that Christians should approach other religions through fraternity rather than seeking conversions

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

Well, folks, it was the ER again. In an attempt to control my Chronic Idiopathic Hives, I was given a new medicine called Xolair and it made everything 10 times worse. Huge amounts of steroids and Benadryl via IV were needed.
I was approved for disability at the end of August, but I'm still waiting for the administrative process to move forward so payments can begin. My attorney has been pushing my case manager at Arizona DES for my PERC interview date, and I should hear something this week.
To give you an idea of some of the delays we're seeing here in Arizona, my attorney told me about another client who was approved at the end of March, didn't have their PERC interview until mid-July, and didn't receive their first payment until October 1. I'm not saying my case will follow the exact same timeline, but these are the kinds of delays we're dealing with here. And it's scary when you're trying to keep a roof over your head.
Despite another hospitalization last week for a serious asthma attack, I'm continuing to train in AI engineering and cybersecurity, preparing for professional certification exams, and building the skills I need to return to work. I'm also working with my disability vocational counselor and my autism coach to make that happen.
Disability for me has never been a permanent solution. The back pay may give me a cushion, and the monthly benefits will give me some breathing room, but they won't be enough to support me. I still need to work within the limitations and rules that apply to my benefits.
I'm continuing to sell stuff online, books and other possessions, to help cover expenses. If anyone is interested in seeing what I have available, please DM me.
I know I've asked for a great deal of help. It's difficult and embarrassing to keep doing this, but I'm trying very hard to hold on to my home and get through this period until I can stand on my own feet again.
I really appreciate everyone who has helped me get this far. Please keep me in your prayers this week while I try to get the rent together.
God bless y'all. 🙏

This is a hard post for me. I never like to ask for help for myself. But I'm going to ask for prayers. I have been diagnosed with cancer. Any prayers would be appreciated.

Lila, I say this as a Catholic woman with a background very similar to Nala’s: You are conflating two entirely different things, and frankly, showing very little discernment in the process.
I believe in repentance. I believe in the radical, transforming mercy of Jesus Christ. I know the price that can come with walking away from that world. And I rejoice when ANY woman abandons pornography and turns toward God.
Nala and her husband marketed Christian courses on marriage, pornography addiction, and other spiritual and personal struggles. The screenshot circulating here also describes paid mentorship packages promising things like "prophetic covering."
These are entirely legitimate grounds for concern.
And why are Catholics who ask these questions being characterized as self-righteous Christians who want repentant women to hide their heads in shame?
That is a gross misrepresentation of the criticism.
Lila, we are Catholics. We have 2,000 years of theological tradition, spiritual wisdom, and the lives of countless saints to draw upon. We should know better than to embrace the evangelical celebrity-conversion culture in which a dramatic testimony seemingly becomes an instant qualification for public ministry and bizarre evangelical prophetic coverings.
The Catechism states plainly: "Discernment of charisms is always necessary." (CCC 801)
None of this means Nala's conversion is insincere. I neither know her heart nor presume to judge the state of her soul. That belongs to God.
But neither does the financial sacrifice of leaving OnlyFans automatically validate everything she does afterward. Financial sacrifice and other penitential suffering is a good thing, especially for women like us.
And quoting Luke 15:7 does not settle the question. Of course heaven rejoices over a repentant sinner! So should we.
But heaven's rejoicing over repentance is not a blanket endorsement of every business venture, ministry, claim to spiritual authority, or attempt to join a paid speaker circuit of charlatans and false prophets.
Mercy is not gullibility and prudence is not condemnation. And refusing to confuse a conversion testimony with spiritual authority is not a failure of Christian charity.
As Catholics, we should understand that distinction better than anyone.
Some people are angry about this clip, saying Nala should not be platformed, that she not sincere and is cashing in on her conversion, and that woman leaving the porn industry should go hide their heads in shame.
I disagree. If you talked to some of these women personally, you’d learn that many have suffered huge financial losses because they left the OF world, including Nala. To the point where they worried if they’d be able to pay rent. There was a significant price they paid to leave it all behind and follow Jesus. Now, sadly, they face the scorn of some Christians, too, who act holier than thou if they dare come to a pro-life event and share their story there (at our request) in an interview to inspire others.
The best way to further destroy the culture is by refusing to celebrate repentance and instead to condemn endlessly. That is not Christ-like.
We also invited and interviewed many girls who do not share Nala’s past. I have the “good girls” (as some folks are calling them) on my show as much as the girls with a past. Probably much more, although I don’t carefully count guests or clips based on people’s pasts. We can learn from both. Sadly the video that some Christians choose to dunk on was Nala’s.
“There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”

Human dignity is not conferred by the Census. It precedes every civil count.
Apportionment of representation is a juridical act of the community.
Excluding non-citizens and those without lawful permanent residency from that count does not deny that they are persons. It declines to treat non-membership as membership.
The Catechism distinguishes the stranger’s natural dignity from the authority of political communities, for the common good, to regulate entry and participation.
The bishops’ statement collapses that clear distinction.
U.S. bishops are opposing proposed Census Bureau rule changes for the 2030 census, arguing that excluding noncitizens without lawful permanent resident status from the apportionment count would effectively deny them recognition as persons.

Dear Bishop Joensen,
Your October 24th statement said: There are many things tied to this present Administration that are blatantly at odds with our Catholic faith. You named the administration. You did not name the party whose platform contradicts Catholic teaching more directly than any policy you cited. That asymmetry is not a pastoral observation. It is a partisan one.
Immigration enforcement is a prudential question, and Catholics may weigh it differently. On abortion, on the surgical and chemical transition of children, on the redefinition of marriage — the Church has not left room for prudential disagreement. Those positions are not at odds with Catholic teaching in some debatable sense. They contradict it outright.
If your standard is what is blatantly at odds with the faith, the Democratic Party's platform meets it more directly than any border policy. You know this. Your silence on it, nine days before a national election, while naming only the administration in power, tells the faithful something you did not say in words.
A bishop who applies the faith as a measuring stick owes the faithful both ends of it. Selective application is not teaching. It is campaigning with vestments on.
In Christ,
Joseph Fosco

An Open Concern About Appearances: The Catholic Church and the Midterms
I am Catholic. I say the rosary. I go to Mass. Nothing in what follows is an accusation against the Church, the Pope, or any bishop. It is a concern about how things look from the outside, and how that appearance is landing with millions of Americans right now.
This administration created a Justice Department task force on anti-Christian bias, pardoned twenty-three pro-life prisoners, stood up a White House Faith Office and a Religious Liberty Commission, designated Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern over the killing of Christians, and cut off federal funding to Planned Parenthood. For a Catholic writer, that record is not nothing. It is, on its face, one of the most tangible pro-life and pro-faith agendas in modern presidential history.
In January 2025, the same administration suspended the refugee and migrant service contracts that had funded the USCCB and Catholic Charities for decades. Over one hundred million dollars a year. More than ninety-five percent of some program budgets. By spring, staff were laid off. By summer, agencies were closing programs. The money did not come back.
Institutions that lose their largest funding stream tend to find their moral vocabulary sharpening in the same direction as their budgets. I am not saying that is what happened. I am saying that is what it looks like, and that appearance is not going unnoticed.
Fourteen months later, in April 2026, the public statements from the Vatican and from American bishops toward this administration grew noticeably louder and more pointed than anything seen during the first term. Catholics see it. Non-Catholics see it.
And when a bishop speaks out days before a national election against one party’s immigration positions—which are prudential disagreements open to debate—while remaining silent on the other’s platform positions that contradict settled Church teaching on life, on the body, on marriage, the imbalance is impossible to miss.
I am not suggesting the Church holds a grudge, or that its silence on one side was bought. I am saying that is the appearance, and appearances are what most Americans, Catholic and not, actually see. When the institution that spent a year without its largest funding stream then directs its public voice at one party near an election—the very party that delivered more concrete protections for Christian life and religious liberty than perhaps any administration in living memory—the appearance is not of a shepherd. It is of a stakeholder.
That is the embarrassment I cannot unsee.

I was the priest who said you were lying and I continue to say so. It is a shame that you are not man enough to admit the lies you wrote. And you should know that people around the World sent me your claims, think they were true:
1. One of them was that the Pilgrimage’s website had recently announced a Mass in St. Peter’s, which is completely false. I used the information that was on the website to prepare the announcement of the programme a week ago, and what was announced was a Mass in the Basilica of Saint Mary Major. The organisers were doing everything possible to gain entry to the Basilica, which is why that information about it had not yet been removed. But there was no reference whatsoever to a Mass in St. Peter’s.
2. Another lie was your claim that other dates had been offered to the organisers for holding the Mass in St. Peter’s; that is pure fantasy. Even if they had been, one cannot change a pilgrimage that has taken place on the same date for fifteen years only two months before it occurs. Spaces are rented from one year to the next, and there are hundreds of pilgrims coming from far away with their trips already paid for, etc. It takes only common sense to understand this.
3. Another lie was your claim that the reason given for refusing the Mass was that an activity related to the Franciscan year had already been scheduled for the Altar of the Chair. When the Mass was requested, no such activity had been scheduled, nor was this used in the Secretariat of State’s response as a reason for not accepting the Mass. Even if such an activity had existed, the two schedules would have been perfectly compatible, especially since the time of the procession could have been adjusted so as to enter at an hour when the celebration of Mass would not conflict with the Franciscan celebration.
4. Another was your claim that the organisers wanted to take a photograph in front of the “wooden wall” in order to make it appear that it had been erected as an obstacle, when everyone knows it is part of the Nativity scene installation. In reality, it was the Italian police themselves who led the procession to that place so that they could pray there.
This, among other things. I have no idea what motivated you to launch such a ferocious attack, given that you are completely uninformed about what took place. You are not the owner of the Traditional Mass in Rome, nor are you the owner of Rome. These faithful are Roman Catholics, and they have the right to come here on pilgrimage and to be given the minimum conditions needed to pray in St. Peter’s Basilica. At the very least, they should be given what was given to the LGBT group.
As is often the case in breaking news, the truth slowly comes out.
Today we learn directly from the organizers of the TLM pilgrimage that when they could not get Saint Peter’s basilica… “permission was sought and gained for a Prelatial (Pontifical) Low Mass in St Mary Major.”
So unlike what so many bloggers, podcasters, journalists, and rage baiters claimed, this was NOT a last-minute change but something that was known since August.
Respect to those who have already corrected what they previously posted and shame on those who have not.
I’ll also note, since I shared early on that events on their official website were still incorrect a day before the pilgrimage began (and many of these same people, including a priest involved said I was lying about that when it was updated the following day) the organizers also said this… “The SP website was based on what happened last year. The problem was that as things were confirmed, very late in the day, they were contirmed as being different trom what they expected, and the website was not updated. So I now understand.”

My precious big brother took his own life today, in Arkansas. He texted me just before he did it. Please. If you are thinking of ending it all, please reach out. Please pray for my 97 y.o. mom, and my nephew. We are devastated.
Pope Leo XIV explicitly sent a bishop to offer a Pride Mass for Fr. James Martin’s LGBTQ pilgrimage. Then they processed into St. Peter’s Basilica with clothes that were in clear violation of the Basilica’s dress code.
With the Summorum Pontificum now being banned from entrance into St. Peter’s Basilica by the Prevost homo-pseudopontificate, it should be more apparent now than ever that orthodox Catholics have no place in the Institution.
