Need I remind people that Chuck Schumer REFUSED to endorse Zohran Mamdani after he became the DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE for the mayor of Chuck's own city.

it is a coordinated media effort. every major outlet is crediting schumer and jeffries for the victories. people protested and begged them to fight back for the last two years. the party bosses didn’t listen. remember the shutdown? they are the only two politicians less popular than trump atm

Governor Hinojosa, do it. Show California that we’re a better, more efficient blue state than them.

In a democracy where representatives actually work for their voters it would already be over for Jeffries
Axios: House Democrats "inundated" with anti-Jeffries calls Democratic House members and members-elect are being bombarded with phone calls and emails urging them not to elect Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) as speaker, more than a dozen lawmakers and aides tell Axios. An incoming House Democrat told Axios they are "getting inundated" and have received "about 150" calls since the election urging them not to vote for Jeffries. axios.com/2026/11/06/jeffrie…

The bigger news here I'm observing is that we are finally starting to see the symptoms of people losing faith in institutions manifest. We need more of this. Lots more of this.
🚨 NEW | Jon Stewart on The Weekly Show, shutting down Schumer’s defenders: “Chuck Schumer fought tooth and nail against half of these f*cking people…He does not understand the urgency of the moment and what the future demands.”

This orchestra leader highlighted Haley Stevens for Michigan and Janet Mills for Maine, so maybe it's time for a new leader.
Schumer: What I do as the leader is I'm the orchestra leader. I am not the best bassoonist. I highlight that person. I am not the great virtuoso singer. I highlight that person.

Ro Khanna says Hakeem Jeffries is going to be Speaker just now on MSNOW. That itll be unanimous in the prog caucus. Man these politicians are not reading the room. “A pretty historic moment. The first African American speaker. We have ideological differences that we’ll work out.”

His first response to a Democratic landslide that he had little to do with is to bleat about finding ‘bipartisan common ground’. Do you think Republicans would be talking about bipartisanship if they had just secured the biggest House majority for decades? Sigh.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said that his party is “ready, willing and able to find bipartisan common ground” in order to work with Republicans on the ongoing affordability crisis. abcnews.visitlink.me/ymEF7Q

It is an objective fact that Hasan Piker did more to win the Midterms than Hakeem Jeffries.

Nah, let the first Black Speaker of the House rock out for a little. He led the party to victory, he deserves his chance for now.

I do not say this lightly, and I’m only speaking for myself, but we need to have a serious conversation about nationalizing the rail lines in this country.
(1/3) The video of Union Pacific CEO Jim Vena threatening to raise rates on shippers who do not support the UP-NS merger is now public. Watch it for yourself here. Vena made the remarks at the Southwest Association of Rail Shippers (SWARS) Annual Conference in Houston. He said:

Mind you in TX you can’t just select one party at the top and automatically have all their candidates receive your vote. You have to physically press the button by each candidate’s name and hit next, and then do that 108 times. The voters wanted all of them gone.
This is pretty crazy. Democrats won so big in Texas that CNN can’t fit it all on the screen.
