Need I remind people that Chuck Schumer REFUSED to endorse Zohran Mamdani after he became the DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE for the mayor of Chuck's own city.

outlet is crediting schumer and jeffries for the victories. people protested and begged them to fight back for the last two years. the party bosses didn’t listen. remember the shutdown? they are the only two politicians less popular than trump atm
Governor Hinojosa, do it. Show California that we’re a better, more efficient blue state than them.

In a democracy where representatives actually work for their voters it would already be over for Jeffries

The bigger news here I'm observing is that we are finally starting to see the symptoms of people losing faith in institutions manifest.
We need more of this. Lots more of this.

His first response to a Democratic landslide that he had little to do with is to bleat about finding ‘bipartisan common ground’. Do you think Republicans would be talking about bipartisanship if they had just secured the biggest House majority for decades?
Sigh.

Nah, let the first Black Speaker of the House rock out for a little. He led the party to victory, he deserves his chance for now.

I do not say this lightly, and I’m only speaking for myself, but we need to have a serious conversation about nationalizing the rail lines in this country.

Mind you in TX you can’t just select one party at the top and automatically have all their candidates receive your vote. You have to physically press the button by each candidate’s name and hit next, and then do that 108 times. The voters wanted all of them gone.
