Republicans might currently have political power, but they're the biggest fucking losers you've ever met
The thing is, the Cracker Barrel rebrand isn’t even about inclusion. These conservatives losing their minds act like they replaced the old man with the barrel with a drag queen (their favorite group to target). CB also updated its restaurants so people aren’t walking through a garage sale before settling in for some pancakes. The reality is they saw the Cracker Barrel CEO was a woman, and they went off the rails and assumed this was a diversity play with no evidence.

It appears that no one actually read Haley Stevens's ransom note to @AbdulElSayed. It did not just say, denounce the Rebellion PAC ad and we're good. She also distorts his words and demands Abdul apologize for saying the war with Iran is the reason for inflation.
This isn’t about Haley Stevens. It’s about the basic question she raised: Why won’t El-Sayed just condemn the Jew-hating ad? News flash: You can be for lower costs and stand up to hate at the same time. jewishinsider.com/2026/10/el…

Mike Rogers: "It's Abdul's birthday today, on Halloween. So we thought, wouldn't it be nice if we got him a gift basket? A football because he thinks football is toxic masculinity! We hope he gains some appreciation for what we love right here in Michigan. Fireworks! Because he said he hates fireworks"

Hey in case anyone's waffling here. Keep Mike Rogers far, far away from the US Senate.
🚨 BREAKING: Mike Rogers confirmed in a new interview that he would vote for a national abortion ban: "I've been very open about that time I was in Congress, having a 100% pro-life rating... This is the only way that I know how to be when I go back to the United States Senate."

Here's what you need to know about Haley Stevens making herself the story 4 days out from the election: Abdul El-Sayed wants Medicare-for-All, to stop wasting your tax dollars on endless wars abroad, spend those tax dollars in the US to improve your lives, & lower your costs.

To recap: This failed Senate candidate was sitting at home the other day scrolling twitter, saw a video @cenkuygur posted that criticized the Israeli government, and has spent the last several days in a hysterical meltdown demanding Abdul El-Sayed "condemn" it.
On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes. We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media that he has. On Sunday I will join with the Great Democratic leader, Jim Clyburn and Dr El Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit. The political coalition of Black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out. Stevens is not only trying to sabotage @AbdulElSayed ’s campaign and undermine pres @BarackObama ā€˜s efforts to unify the party, she’s actively trying to prevent the Dems from winning a majority in the Senate. This will not work Dr El-Sayed will win but this should end her career.

Pretty rich for Haley Stevens to lecture Abdul El-Sayed about ā€œhateā€ over an ad his campaign has explicitly disavowed while Mike Rogers is running one of the most racist and bigoted campaigns I’ve ever seen. The hate in this race is being directed at Abdul, not coming from him.

For all the safety discourse, it is shocking how mainstream American discourse ignores how unsafe this racist garbage makes it for Muslim Americans.
Sen. @tedcruz (R-TX) says that if U.S. Sen. candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) is elected into the Senate and is placed in the Senate Intelligence Committee, "there is a very real risk that Americans will die as a result."

Abdul, born and raised Michigan, is not "attached" to America, corrupted, the same argument used for generations to cast Jews as a sinister outside force. The attempt to paint Muslims in this way, immigrants, trans people, comedians, the media, the colleges, the Democrats, etc, etc. - it is not JUST that this kind of politics will come for Jews. It's already here, in the alt-right staffers in congressional offices, in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories gaining increasing purchase on the right, podcasters just asking questions about the Holocaust, great replacement theory, goyslop, etc, etc, etc. And as Vance is making clear, it won't end with Trump. The more successful a movement based on dominance and hatred and protecting "real" Americans, the more I worry about the safety of Jews in this country. The midterms are a chance to check MAGA, halt this rise, and in Michigan prove it ineffective. Is there anti-semitism on the left? YES. Of course. We ought to call that out directly, and reject it as wrong and toxic and self-destructive, which I won't stop doing. But we cannot lose sight of what we are facing from the MAGA right. These are the stakes to me.
Vance on El-Sayed: We have to understand what happens when our nation gives into these kinds of people with zero attachment to its land or to its history. What we saw in France, the hatred, the ingratitude, the desire to destroy rather than a desire to build, that exact same cancer that has corrupted El-Sayed.

Haley Stevens coming out to hurt Abdul days before the election is a very predictable outcome. The ad they are talking about is not airing in Michigan and has nothing to do with Abdul but she had to come out to say something.

It is late October and people are voting every day, if you cannot give a full-throated endorsement to the Democratic nominee who could be the key vote in flipping the Senate, then stay the fuck off television
BASH: ā€œYou're still fully behind Abdul El-Sayed?ā€ STEVENS: ā€œLook, I'm on the Democratic ticket. I can't say that I agree with everything that's gone on… I'm looking to be on the team to support my next governor Jocelyn Benson, and frankly these great Democrats who are working their tails off, who are going to make Hakeem Jeffries the first black Speaker of the House.ā€ BASH: ā€œYou didn't mention Abdul El-Sayed in that last answer.ā€ STEVENS: ā€œWell, look, I would just say, you had asked me if I'm still on the team, I'm on the team.ā€

Help get @abdulelsayed elected to the senate! Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy—and Abdul is the one fighting to protect it. Get involved and help at abdulforsenate.com/vote go.abdulforsenate.com We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too. We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries. That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next. Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells. Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it. #abdulelsayed #democracy #jewish #midterms
