RIP Sir Patrick Stewart.
There is so much I want to say, but there are plenty who are already saying it so much better.
I'll be rewatching ST:TNG and Jean-Luc Picard.

Picard taught me more about leadership than any MBA could.
He never raised his voice to be heard. He listened before he decided. He let Riker, Data, Worf argue him out of positions, and then owned the call completely. When he was wrong, he said so in front of the crew. When he was right, he didn't gloat.
And when he had to stand alone — against Starfleet, against the Borg, against a Cardassian with four lights — he stood.
That is the whole job. Build people who will tell you the truth, then carry the weight yourself.
Patrick Stewart played it so well that a generation of us mistook a character for a manual. Turns out the manual was fine.
A great actor, and a Yorkshire kid who started as an obituary writer. Today the obituary is his.
Make it so, Sir Patrick. Rest well.
Quite easy to build your own like this today

Needs a camera and a few tokens. No need to scan the barcodes either.
Maybe I will.

So you're telling me the guys who own the only ai hardware that's not a GPU, the datacenters, the model, and the user's entire life data just gapped 11% down? on an EPS miss? And you think the market understands what's happening?
This must be a joke. Cancelled Muse Code.
Gemini remains the only personal AI plan I'm paying for now. Let's go goog.
Acshually, Kannada calls it ನೀರಾನೆ (nīrāne) = water elephant.
Since we have the highest number of elephants, it's easier to think of hippos in terms of elephants..
These maps are not finegrained enough, as usual.
Bangalore has 5-7 months of pleasant temperature in a year (highs of 18-27C = 65-80F)
Highest avg being in April - 33C ~ 91F

5 months in 2025 (7 months if you count another +/- 0.5c) were in the 18-27 were in the "pleasantly warm" range for Bangalore.
lol.
since a label hides Bengaluru, here is a clue stick..

MSTeams was always the secure alternative. 😏
anthropic is massively underplaying the recent security breach. i'm hearing cathedral achieved full administrator access of the slack workspace (see every message, log in as arbitrary users) where literally every single research secret is contained
to those unfamiliar: Ant & OAI keep literally everything in Slack. it sounds exactly the same incident that happened to OpenAI in 2023, where OpenAI was hacked by a random guy who got access to an access token from an external app service
"we're critical to national security, we must beat China, and yes we keep all our crown jewels in Salesforce's Slack messenger. yes we have admin API tokens everywhere. why do you ask?"
It's both:
Unlimited "midwit" intelligence (agent swarms using too-cheap-to-meter intelligence ~ at the cost of electricity),
AND
very smart frontier intelligence($$$$$ from big labs; and likely gatekept).
I just opened up Wordcraft instead of opening Google Docs for light formatting. This might stick.
The local mcp for gridcraft (excel alike) sounds cool. I need to play around with it.
I had a look at the ArtCraft project by Brandon Thomas. They are free, open-source Rust reimplementations of the major Adobe and Microsoft apps. They have been making the rounds, but I only got to try them out today. The excel clone seems quite convincing.
