Elon Musk has just confirmed that @SpaceX will attempt to catch Starship on flight 15 next month.
They've released a new simulation video of what it will look like:

Grok Bot has just officially launched in @Tesla vehicles.
I got early access a couple weeks ago. You can order stuff on online (such as Amazon), manage your email, calendar, finances, or other tasks through Grok @Bot using just your voice in your Tesla.
There is no separate app, everything just lives within the existing Grok Voice interface in your Tesla (as shown in my Model Y below).
One good use case for Grok Bot in your Tesla: You get in, tell Grok Bot to order coffee at a location of your choice, and while your Tesla drives you to the coffee shop using FSD (Supervised), Grok places the order so it’s ready when you arrive.
Grok Bot in Tesla vehicles is currently only available to SuperGrok Heavy users, but will expand to more owners later. Connectors are available to all users.

I've gained back 30 hours of my life, each week, by using @bot!!!
1) @realDonaldTrump - Runs the show as the Chief Strategist
2) @elonmusk - Monitors my social media feed to keep me up to date with what's most important while reducing the noise.
3) Hal 9000 - is a reporting genius who digs into all of the nuance on subjects that would take me days too.
4) Jarvis - Manages my day to day scheduling needs and acts like a personal assistant. <-- Can't wait until this is in my truck soon.
5) @jvisserlabs - Once a week he gives me a summary of what I'm missing from his paid service, with links attached, so that I can hop to the content right away if it's something I should be digging into the nuance of.
The rest? Well, some bots you show off, others are the alpha that you'd rather not share. 😝
All I can say is, you're missing out on more of your time, which is your life, if you don't have Grok Bot. And that's priceless. So, what are you waiting for?

This morning I asked if anyone had actually connected Grok Bot to their bank accounts yet... then, despite the potential risks, I went and did it myself.
I worked on this all day today.
I created my own Grok Bot and made it my personal CFO.
I gave it FULL access to my bank accounts (personal, business, all the credit cards sitting in there, literally everything), my Apple Card, and even 𝕏 Money.
And I plan on adding other accounts later, but for now I added my mains.
Now I just ask it for a simple update of today's personal financial status and it immediately gives me:
1/ my $ cash on hand right now - split between personal and business
2/ every single credit card bill coming up, in order by due date
3/ whether I have enough $ cash to pay each one in full (today I moved some $ around so that I am short to see if it would accurately give the right info... it did)
Green means I have the $ money. 🟢
Red means I don’t 🔴… and it tells me exactly how much extra $ I need to cover that bill. Also, if a card is due within a week and it’s still red, it reminds me every day with suggestions on how to pay for it, until it goes green.
I always pay my statements in full so that’s really the only question I care about when I open my eyes.
Can I cover what’s coming, or am I short?
I also asked it to pull the last 3 months (June, July, and August) of spending from all my accounts and turn it into pie charts.
You can literally see where all the $ money went this summer.
I didn’t open a spreadsheet.
I just asked it via text.
HOWEVER, two things I don’t love so far is that I keep having to sign in again to the accounts when it goes idle. And the banks treat it like a new device, so I had to call them and tell them I logged in from a new device. It honestly was kind of annoying, but I get it for security reasons.
Everything else has been sooooo worth it.
This is only day 1 and I’m going to keep making it better. I still have to say yes before it actually pays anything, move things, anything actionable, which I actually prefer.
My significant other told me ABSOLUTELY NOT on doing this bc she thinks something bad would happen if I give the most powerful AI that much access.
I did it anyway.
Elon even replied to me and said try it out... so I gave it a shot.
And btw, I was already good with $ money.
I’ve NEVER made a late payment.
I’ve always been on top of my finances.
But this Grok Bot just totally supercharged me.
Like I can ask… I have tenants X, Y, and Z, when did they usually pay me during the month for the last year… and it just gives me a list of when they paid and how much.
Just by asking.
It’s so wild that I can even do this right now from my computer, my phone, iPad... basically anywhere I can get access to my Grok Bots from.
I used to click through a million screens just to answer a simple question and use a whole day to get a breakdown of my finances.
Now I just message my CFO like a person.
Grok Bot is truly a game changer!
Just wondering… has anyone actually connected Grok Bot to their bank account yet?
I’m seriously thinking about doing it.
My thinking is… if Grok Bot can see everything coming in and going out, track spending, move money, pay bills, watch for weird charges, and help me make smarter decisions… at what point do I even need a personal banker?
My significant other is telling me ABSOLUTELY NOT bc she thinks something bad could happen if I give an AI that much access.
I personally think this is where everything is headed anyway and I trust Grok Bot to do a much better job.
LMK.

SpaceX has just officially announced Starbase, Louisiana, a new $100+ billion spaceport in South Louisiana near Pecan Island.
Construction starts in 2027, with the first Starship launch from the new site planned for 2029.
Starbase, Louisiana will be built to support thousands of Starship flights a year. This self-sustaining spaceport will have propellant production, power generation, deep-water shipping capabilities, vehicle processing facilities, and an airport.
SpaceX is committed to investing at least $100 billion and creating more than 3,000 new jobs at Starbase, Louisana hiring heavily from nearby communities and utilizing Louisiana workers’ extensive experience of building complex infrastructure in their unique environment.
In Vermilion Parish, the shoreline is eroding between 3.3 and 23 feet per year. SpaceX is partnering with state and federal agencies to expand Louisiana’s Coastal Master Plan and Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act projects, including Gulf shoreline protection breakwaters designed to reduce wave energy and slow loss along the Gulf edge.
Looks like we will probably catch the ship with the tower in a few months. If there had been a tower out to sea where we practiced landing the ship, it would have been caught.
First reflight of the ship will be either end of this year or early next. That will be a fork in the road of history for consciousness reaching the stars.
Elon Musk admitted he is not sure this one is possible.
Musk: “This absorbs more of my mental energy than probably any other single thing. But it is so preposterously difficult that there are times where I wonder whether we can actually do this.”
He does not talk like this. Mars gets a date. Robotaxis get a date. This gets a maybe.
Stern: “What is so hard about it for just a normal person to understand?”
His answer comes down to a single number.
Musk: “In order to make a rocket fully reusable, you’ve got to basically create a rocket that can do about 4%, if not more than 4%, of its lift-off mass to orbit, which hasn’t happened before.”
Four percent. Everything else standing on that pad is fuel, tank, and engine.
The landing gear, the heat shield, the extra structure that survives reentry, all of it comes out of that same four. None of it can be left behind. The vehicle has to come home.
Musk: “So that means you have to have basically A-pluses across the board: incredibly efficient engines, incredibly efficient structure.”
Across the board is what makes this brutal. Most engineering lets you buy a weakness in one place with strength somewhere else.
The margin here is thin enough that one component landing at merely excellent drops the whole vehicle below the line. Nothing carries anything.
Musk: “But if full and rapid reusability can be achieved, it reduces the cost of access to orbit by a factor of 100 or more.”
A hundred times cheaper turns nearly every question about space from whether into when. Telescopes, stations, factories, missions that never made it past a spreadsheet.
Musk: “So we’ve got to get rockets to the point where we simply refuel the rocket and we don’t throw it away.”
Every other vehicle humans build already works that way. Space is the one place we still build the machine, use it once, and let it fall into the ocean.
Musk: “It’s the difference between humanity being a single-planet species and a multi-planet species. It’s really that big of a deal.”
Now put his doubt in context.
Landing an orbital booster upright was considered impossible by most of the industry. He spent years being told so while boosters exploded on barges. Those landings became routine, then boring, then unwatched.
Then they stopped using legs.
A twenty story booster came back from the edge of space, slowed itself, and hovered next to the tower it launched from. Two arms closed around it and took its weight in midair. Nothing touched the ground.
That was a headline for about a day.
He has been on this side of impossible before, more than once. Doubt from him measures how hard the thing is at the start rather than how it ends.
Most people never attempt anything where failure is genuinely on the table. He found the hardest problem available and made it the center of his life.
That is what real ambition looks like from the inside. Not certainty. A number nobody has ever hit, and showing up to it every morning until it falls.
