I’m pleased to report that the 4 trustees who caused so much chaos for Mountain View School Division are no longer trustees. 2 did not run again, 2 were defeated. I look forward to boring Board meetings that actually accomplish what they are supposed to.

Imagine if Europe, in the days after 9/11, had cleared its throat and announced: We have struck a tremendous deal with Osama bin Laden. We have lifted the sanctions on his organization, so he is now free to trade on the open market and bankroll his war against the United States. Bush must step down. The man has no cards.

But no. Europe did nothing of the sort. Europe did not sit down with a mass murderer and come home gushing about what a strong and reasonable fellow he turned out to be.
Europe laced up its boots, flew to Afghanistan, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Americans and hunted that bearded wretch through every godforsaken mountain in the country, because that is what you do when a friend gets hit, and handing the attacker a shopping list while telling the victim to surrender is what you do when you have lost your mind.

The mood in Ukraine is grim today. There's frustration and outrage here in Kyiv towards the Trump administration over what Ukraine's government, the troops and society believe is a deliberate attempt on the part of Washington to force Ukraine to capitulate to Russia – by withholding intelligence that allows early warning when Russian missiles are incoming, and cutting off Starlink to the military which needs it to strike and for defence against jet drones. These decisions cut intel sharing and restrict Starlink cost lives; at least 5 people killed in Kyiv, 6 more in Lutsk, dozens others badly injured.

There are some names (Mercier, Gryba) however that were in major leadership roles in the past few years. During that time, MVSD was in the news for plenty of wrong reasons..

Canada received some good news today.
If you want good things for Canada, you like this news. If you actually care about the economic growth, this is a positive.
Which makes me wonder why all of those people that were so concerned about "technical recession" suddenly have absolutely nothing to say here?
Why aren't they happy and sharing this positive news?
They are constantly posting this type of data and providing their analysis and expertise regarding these metrics... So, why are they all ignoring this?
It isn't because they're actually hoping for shitty things to happen is it?
It can't be because they don't really care about the data and just want to make political swipes?
Ask yourself why those constantly tweeting about these types of numbers, projections, and economic metrics have literally ignored this....
