Translation: Rick Scott wants to be Minority Leader. So does Mike Lee. Gonna be interesting...
🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Senator Rick Scott says to DELAY Senate leadership elections, scheduled for Tuesday where Senator John Thune is currently running unopposed. Minutes later, @SenJohnKennedy posted, "I have signed Sen. Ron Johnson’s letter to postpone Senate Republican leadership elections next Tuesday. Ron needs 5 signatures." That makes 4 signatures: Johnson, Lee, Scott, and now Kennedy. @SenRickScott told me on @SatAmericaFNC, Republican voters are "worried about the future. They're fed up with government." "Instead of have an election, the first thing you do is you say, 'Okay, what are we going to change? We have to change something.'" "What @RonJohnsonWI's proposing, which I completely agree with, is let's sit down and decide what we're going to do differently, then we can decide who's going to be the leader. " "I don't want to run again. I've run twice. I think we oughta be listeners." @SatAmericaFNC @FoxNews ⬇️

Of course they did. That was the whole point of the "health emergency" bullshit. It had nothing to do with pandemics. It had everything to do with CONTROL.
🧵🚨 WHO is officially rebranding the failed “climate change” narrative as a formal health emergency Just as the UN and its surrogates quietly dropped the Armageddon/doomsday scenarios that defined years of messaging, WHO is pivoting hard.

The DSA will flex its muscles in the leadership battle. It wants control of the party. And will be relentless in pursuing it.
Poor Hakeem Jeffries... The Establishment Democrats better realize they aren't in charge anymore. The Progressive-Radicals own the Democrat Party now. The Old School Dems just need to sit down, shut up, and collect their paychecks.

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing America's hottest new political innovation: THE CAMPAIGN-FREE CANDIDATE! Why waste millions campaigning when you can quit, go home, and WIN THE FUCKING ELECTION ANYWAY? Meet Iowa Democrat Eric Armstrong, the revolutionary pioneer of political absenteeism. He withdrew from his campaign in September, citing health problems, and explained that voters deserved someone capable of giving the job 100 percent. Two months later, he collected 4,602 votes, defeated Republican Keith Jones by 865, and won a district Donald Trump carried in 2024. Meanwhile, the Iowa Republican Party poured roughly $126,000 in advertising and other support into the race. Imagine being the GOP consultant responsible for explaining that expense report. "We executed a comprehensive voter-contact strategy, optimized our digital outreach, deployed targeted messaging, and successfully lost to a man who announced he wasn't running anymore." Outstanding work, gentlemen. Invoice the donors another fifty grand. And Texas offered its own deluxe model: Ericka Lomick, a Democratic candidate whose criminal conviction, abandoned campaign, and enormous spending disadvantage apparently couldn't stop her electoral success. Welcome to the future! Campaign headquarters are now optional. Consultants can be replaced with cardboard cutouts. Debate preparation consists of disconnecting your phone. Naturally, anyone interested in examining these peculiar results risks encountering the nation's elite journalism professionals, who have perfected the art of treating election questions like an outbreak of contagious stupidity. Why investigate precinct returns when you can spend six hours debunking some moron's theory about secret ballots delivered by extraterrestrials? Much safer. Better television. Fewer spreadsheets. And Republican consultants should be absolutely thrilled. They've finally discovered an opponent so efficient that he doesn't even need to show up to humiliate them. America spent generations building a political industry of strategists, pollsters, consultants, advertisements, and campaign professionals. Democrats just introduced the ultimate cost-cutting measure. Republicans spent a fortune trying to defeat a candidate whose most successful campaign maneuver was fucking quitting. (article below)

Why do they like Susie Wiles so much? 🤔
Fox News, GOP Rep. Stutzman, and donors. They are all kinds of upset because S. Miller likes to deport people. We voted for hardline immigration policies dickweeds. Call Susie Wiles she will listen to you.

I'm guessing ICE has a plan to deal with this.
Georgia Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms says she will not cooperate with immigration enforcement: “I will certainly use whatever power we have…to push back on these issues related to immigration…When I was Mayor of Atlanta, I ended our cities’ contract with ICE.”

The revolt against Thune begins...
BREAKING: Sen. Ron Johnson has reportedly secured signatures from five Republican senators demanding a delay in Senate GOP leadership elections. The signatures are reportedly enough to force a Republican conference meeting to discuss postponing the vote. These are the 4 that have publicly said they've signed. Remember like two days ago when the entire legacy media and Barack Obama was ranting about how dangerous and unprecedented it was for Trump to use government power to go after political enemies
Unless RFK Jr. is interested in spending the next two years in front of Congressional committees, he should go ahead and resign now.

.@jefftimmer You accuse @HarmeetKDhillon of hateful bullying while calling DOJ officials “unqualified loons” and telling her to “Lawyer up.” All in the same post. Quite a performance. You’re a former Michigan GOP executive director and Lincoln Project adviser. You even admitted your own role in gerrymandering districts that helped fuel political extremism. Now you’re lecturing others about acceptable political behavior? Before handing out lectures about bullying, try applying your standards to your own mouth. And what exactly is Dhillon supposed to lawyer up for?
Apparently, hateful bullying and trolling are exclusively within the purview of unqualified loons high atop the Department of Justice. Lawyer up.

To be fair, later might let Trump's recess appointments last longer. Say, all the way to 2029.
In the absence of an agreement between the Senate and White House about recess appointments, regular pro forma sessions are the norm in the modern Senate, with majority-party senators each taking turns presiding—even if we’d rather be doing actual work in session. I’ve been in close contact with the White House in recent months on the issue, and have made clear that the moment the White House is ready to make a move in that direction, I will support them in supporting recess appointments and opposing pro forma sessions. That moment has not yet arrived, but when it does I will step into action.
