I was once having lunch with a friend in Knightsbridge when he told me to avoid wearing my watch out and about. I replied that I’ve been staying hyper vigilant, only have my hands out of my pockets because we’re in a restaurant. And he replied “well you never know if someone working at this restaurant could tip off someone outside.” That’s why I say London feels safe when you have nothing valuable to lose.
