Do you throw off the mound enough?
Listen to @wmarsh108 talk about the benefits of even just playing catch off the mound 15 throws at the end of catchplay 🗣️

If you're struggling to throw strikes, here are some options you have to improve "command"🎯
✅ Variable Distance Training
✅ Filter Your Misses
✅ Arsenal Construction
Don't waste your winter development window. ❌

There are multiple avenues to improving command.
Some good food for thought here.
-Adding variability
-Adjusting focal points
-Tweaking mechanics (direction/timing)
-Adjusting usage around higher in-zone pitches
Not to mention the obvious mental game contributors (breathing, routines, arousal management, sleep extension, etc.).
If your goal is to lower BB rates or increase IZ rates next season, this is highly attainable with a multi-faceted approach.

It was a great event, thank your for inviting me to the KPMG headquarters in Tokyo and for your support of Czech baseball. Arigato gozaimasu.

One of my favorite videos of Pujols talking hitting. Completely changed his philosophy against the video that gets circulated around from earlier in his career

This is one of the most spectacular grand slams you’ll ever see. The swing, the reaction, everything.

As a catcher we must love to block. We must take pride in the bumps and bruises we get behind the dish. Wear it like a badge of honor

Dominican-German SS Kenny Fermin was on the mound today for Mainz against Regensberg in the German Baseball League. He struck out 2 in 2 innings. He’ll be signing a contract with the Athletics and beginning his professional career in North America shortly
With the new school year approaching, I’d like to relay some information about our 2025 baseball class.

Congrats to Evan McRae on his commitment to Wagner College! The Seahawks are getting a proven NorCal JC bat. Evan came to the U.S. from Canada and developed himself into a dude via the JC route.
