It's easy to hate insurance companies, but do you have the courage to hate hospitals?
The Blue Cross/Blue Shield Association says that AI is already driving *up* healthcare costs, as hospitals use the technology to find instances where they can bill more for the same level of care. bcbs.com/about-us/associatio…

The wisest thing my CrimLaw professor ever said was “the most insane, destructive, badly-thought-out piece of legislation you’ll ever see is a law named after a dead kid.”

Check out chapter 7 ("What is Left? Toward an Alternative Radicalism") of "National Economic Planning: What is Left?" in which Don Lavoie (historically and conceptually) situates radical liberalism as fundamentally left-wing, and planning as the apex of hierarchical conservatism.
I still don't get where the Don Lavoie praise by LWMAs comes from (I admit I haven't read much from him).
@corymassimino do YOU have anything to do with this?

Leftists love finding quotes from fringe extremists and then acting like it represents official Israeli policy - randos like the "Minister of National Security" or the "Defense Minister," whatever that is.

No other profession self mythologises as much as comedians. A bunch of raging narcissists desperate to convince the world that they're important
Jerry Seinfeld says comedians stop being funny when they lose their physical strength
"we talked about the the physical challenge of comedy which I don't think people think about...some of the really funny people funniest that I've ever seen like Michael Richards or Caesar. I've heard a lot of people talking about these guys like are crazy strong guys"
"one of the things that will destroy your comedy is when you don't have any physical strength because there's an energy. Comedy is a concentration of energy on a point...It's like throwing a punch and it takes energy to do it"
"a lot of comedy people as they age they just don't physically have the the juice"

“I want affordable healthcare.”
“Oh, that’s great! I’m a social democrat too and I’m very concerned about how the free market failed us. What are your thoughts on single-pay-“
“Abolish the AMA. Bust physician unions. Bring back lodge societies. End pharmaceutical patent rent-seeking. Downscale the time and quantity of board licensure needed.”
