NEWS — A hacker is attempting to breach the Federal Election Commission's systems, and the agency had to "temporarily shut down" its web-facing services, per an email seen by Reuters. The FEC regulates campaign finance and plays no role in running elections or counting votes.

Beamer: The three TDs called back were penalties. But yes, the plays that became touchdowns were concerning. USC's penalties also extended UT drives and allowed some of those plays, too.

Shane Beamer starts his press conference by thanking the fans for their energy and passion on Saturday. "The environment in that stadium was unreal, and still something recruits are talking about."

As good as it was, Beamer says USC can't let that be the highlight of the season. Five games left that the season rests on.
Beamer: More happiness in his daily routine these days. Happy for his players and staff, because the losing streak was hard on everybody. Now he's getting vids from his daughter from the UT game that say, this is an "aura." Guesses that's pretty good.

Next question is about avoiding a disappointment after a big win (which is the SEC Flu). So he does end up talking about it without the specific name. Feels the team's maturity and all it went through during three straight losses has hammered the point home.
Shane Beamer previewing Oklahoma: Asked about the SEC Flu, he asked if Nolan Hay elaborated on what it meant. Told that Hay did, Beamer says he'd rather not elaborate, then.

OU leads the SEC in turnovers. Has that been a point of emphasis? Beamer: Not really. They focus on it every week due to forcing turnovers like they've done the past five years. But nothing more than normal.

Overall, Beamer says, they have to be better at getting the ball back. Kentucky has 18 takeaways this year. USC has six. USC is usually in that leader spot midyear.

2026 saltwater floods have been particularly bad. But the reality is that these conditions will hit more frequently and impact more areas with each passing year. Sea level has risen 8 inches in 30 years in Miami. Another foot is expected in 30 years. Then another foot in next 20.
Didn’t see this coming this morning. Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale is flooded from king tides and the full moon. 🌕🌊
