Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineerโs laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the companyโs funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.

He then takes the grift cash to buy elections, outright rig them, gains extraordinary access to the backrooms and convinces panting sycophants that heโs โfighting the establishment.โ
He IS the establishment.
Years and years of missed deadlines, self driving promises just around the corner. Spectacular theatrical marketing presentations presented as new technology, with an army of ball riding zombies to explain why his latest failure is actually evidence of 5D chess wizardry.
All in line to be the friend he doesnโt have.
He was emailing Epstein to find about the โwildest partiesโ on child rape island, and you people still clamber.
Speaking of mouth breathing followers, the cult surrounding him is even more disturbingly dangerous.
Every glaring contradiction becomes an insult worthy misunderstanding.
Every dumb comment is a masterpiece. Every legitimate totally fair criticism becomes proof that the questioner is stupid, jealous, or secretly working against humanity itself.
Itโs so blatantly a cult.
At what point does this bizarre admiration become deliberately and completely giving up independent thought?
You can acknowledge the success of his companies and the remarkable engineering feats without cosplaying that heโs some infallible prophet.
And give his employees some credit.
Heโs a trillionaire with huge political influence, a pretty pathetic appetite for public attention indicative of someone thatโs insecure, and a documented history of promise after promise that he doesnโt deliver on.
Please, donโt confuse money with intelligence.
They rarely go hand in hand.
Also, realize that proximity to great power is not synonymous with moral authority. The truth is historically the opposite.

The images coming out of Portugal are brutal and sickening. The Portuguese government must resign.
Faced with the greatest housing crises in the countryโs history and Europe as a whole, this government not only decided to do nothing about it, it also decided to brutally assault young people demanding solutions.
Protests in Portugal arenโt like France. They have been 100% peaceful. No rioting. No looting. No violence. Not from the protestors. Only the government.
