Trying to address the misinformation surrounding EFC’s PSR breach and our finances, and other random opinions

TFG are our owners for now - they’ve partly addressed some of our funding issues - they seem to realise it’s best to try and employ the best CEO & Manager you can and then leave them to do their job -they will use every accounting trick they can

Who at the club has said “it’s Arsenal, what do you expect”?
Replying to @PatricRidge
You’re missing the point. The gulf in quality between Arsenal and Fleetwood is massive, yet Fleetwood are showing the attitude, desire and determination to compete. That’s what makes the “it’s Arsenal, what do you expect?” excuse so frustrating. Nobody expects Everton to match Arsenal for quality, but that doesn’t excuse a lack of competitiveness. Fleetwood are showing that, regardless of the difference in ability, you can still approach a game with the right attitude.

If you think that was working hard and showing fight, then the standards are frighteningly low. Everton looked beaten before the whistle. That’s the difference, and it’s exactly what I’m criticising.

23% possession 1 shot on goal 4 touches in Arsenal box Arsenal only managed to get 1 of 11 shots on target. Nothing to do with defeatist attitude (which is nonsense), it shows what can happen when you defend well and take your chance.
Nothing more Everton than accepting a defeatist attitude of “it’s Arsenal, what do you expect?” Meanwhile, Fleetwood, 18th in League Two, are currently beating the champions. Excellent attitude and performance from them so far.

I’ve got no idea when you look at this feed. How you come up with — I said “Everton fans should accept mediocrity” I mean you have absolutely made this up🤷🏻‍♂️
You’re being very conservative there Don, a couple. Ex players like yourself and the media expect Evertonian’s to accept mediocrity and to stay in are lane. Sick to death of the little old Everton. We expect a manager who’s on £5 million pounds a year to at least have ago👍🏻

Has Moyes fallen into that trap, or lots of fans? I don’t think he’s changed. When we were “riding high” he was refusing to go to BMD and talking about 40 points.
My biggest grievance with Moyes at the minute is that he's fallen into the old trap of negativity too easily. He's been dealt a crap hand, undoubtedly, but where's the positivity and optimism that he was riding high on when he came back in 2025?

Weird how Rayan knew this but Gannon-Doak didn’t Or that Armstrong, George & Rohl don’t seem to be inhibited.
Rayan probably knew that the manager would accept he's young and may make mistakes so played with a bit more freedom

Never forget this was one of the reasons Dyche went on that bad run without a win
Never forget Harry Kane got Doucoure sent off for this, luckily, Michael Keane rescued a point for us that night

No debate as ciear evidence Yet Patric is ignoring the evidence
I didn’t ask tbh. I said it’s unlikely Moyes would hand the same opportunities to those players that Iraola did. I don’t think there can really be a debate there because we have evidence.

🧮How would the Premier League table look if it followed the match odds? 🔴Manchester United would be 3rd with 7 more points 🌳Nottingham Forest would have 5 points more and mid-table 🔴Sunderland would have 4 more points and be outside the relegation zone #MUFC #NFFC #SAFC

Bournemouth introduced Rayan exactly as we introduced George 1 sub appearance then start. They’ve also had Gannon-Doak sitting idle on the bench, playing a lot less than Dibling. 🤷‍♂️
Replying to @KieranJ_1979
Brighton had Gomez and Ayari in their attack on Sunday. Bournemouth threw Rayan straight in. Again, it doesn't have to be every game, but one game, because those players suited what was required?

Is playing a 19 year old every game now becoming a criticism? Hackney has played in 8 games this season (all competitions), including 7 of our 8 league matches. Hardly “out in the cold”
Moyes’s Midfield Conundrum is Leaving Difference-Maker Hackney Out in the Cold: With Garner and Armstrong seemingly undroppable in the manager's eyes there doesn't appear to be a place for the new signing from Boro even though he makes a case for inclusion every… dlvr.it/TW4MlC

Rayan & George both joined last January 1st game Rayan 23 mins as sub. Assist George 22 mins as sub. 2nd game Rayan started scored George started didn’t score Rayan started the 3rd Because the manager was brave or the player made a big impact?

He was an unused sub for 2 games, but think he had a disrupted pre season

“Developing players” Do you mean Armstrong? George? Rohl?
Yes its also about developing players/style of play/in game management..

“Parading a sample size of 8 games” Also known as referring to the league table.
Other people have the problem of being dramatic, twisting stats, and trying to drive a certain narrative; while you're parading a sample size of 8 games as to why it's all great, when you can go up or down about 5-9 places in a week 😂

Arsenal used 4 <27 year olds on Saturday We used 10
Moyes doesn’t want sustainable, smart recruitment either, though. He wants 27 year olds with PL experience who are good at one particular thing.
