I like how Peter Obi and Kwankwaso haven't even bothered addressing INEC's AI rubbish. They simply kept quiet.
INEC probably expected them to start making noise, calling them out or organising protests. But their silence has been deafening.
Lemme explain.
If Obi and Kwankwaso had started protesting or publicly calling out INEC over that AI nonsense, INEC would have interpreted it as an opportunity to provoke them further and play on their confidence in the institution.
Instead, these men are busy teaching Nigerians how to vote, how to protect their votes and how to defend the electoral process.
Indirectly saying:
"We know what you're trying to do. We're not going to play into your hands. We're going to educate our people, prepare them for the elections and make sure that when the time comes, every vote is accounted for and every attempt to manipulate the process is challenged with evidence."
That's the message.
You don't have to take every bait thrown at you. Sometimes, the smartest response is to deny your opponent the reaction they're looking for and put that energy into preparing for the actual contest.
Let them prepare their AI.
We'll prepare our people.
